On August 22, 2025, we traveled to Denver, Colorado, with plans to spend the weekend exploring Estes Park. We spent the day horseback riding through the mountains, trying new food and wine, and enjoying the excitement of discovering a new place together. Early the next morning, on August 23rd at 3:45 a.m., we set out on a hike to Thunder Lake. After a six-mile hike, we arrived by 7:30 a.m., greeted by a peaceful alpine lake surrounded by towering mountains. The moment was quiet, breathtaking, and unforgettable. Standing on the shore of Thunder Lake, Mason got down on one knee and asked Madison to spend the rest of their lives together. Without hesitation, Madison said yes and the planning began!
