We have room blocks at the Courtyard by Marriot, Best Western Greenfield Village, and Hampton Inn. More information is on the Travel section of the site - these rooms must be booked by June 7th.

How will admission to the museum be handled?

Answer

Everyone will have full access to the museum during the reception - no need to pay for tickets. For those who want to go to the museum before or after the wedding, reach out to Brian or Annie for a discount code that can be used for in-person ticket sales. For those who go before the reception - the museum will close and kick everyone out, including wedding guests, in order to set up for the reception. You will not be permitted to stay during the intervening hour from 5 until the 6:30 cocktail hour.

What airport should we be flying into for the wedding?

Answer

Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is the major international airport in the area. It is located 20 minutes away from the Henry Ford Museum.

Are kids welcome to the wedding / reception?

Answer

We welcome the full family to come out, or just the older ones. For children under 10, the reception menu is chicken tenders, fries, and a fruit cup. Please let us know on the RSVP if the kids are coming so that we can plan seating and meals accordingly. The reception is in a museum so we do ask that you keep an eye on the little ones. There are a lot of great things to see, and even more great places to hide.
