How do you get around in Malta?

Answer

Bolt app is the Maltese version of Uber which is very affordable and efficient to get around the whole island. As of a month ago, Malta also has Uber on the island too. We recommend having access to both Bold and Uber apps. Lyft is not present on the island. You can also consider renting a car, if you want to be challenged by left side driving on windy roads!

What are pastizzi?

Answer

Malta's favourite pastry. Very flaky and delicious. Many like having their's with ricotta inside, but also consider mushy peas. You'll find these throughout Malta, but perhaps one of the most famous is the Crystal Palace, which is near the Roman Villa in Rabat, not far from M'dina. Many famous visitors head here on their travels to Malta!

Is Malta close to Sicily?

Answer

Just a ferry trip away! Additionally, one of our friends has organized a sailing charter between Malta and Sicily on the afternoon of August 25th following the brunch. The base cost of the boat but there is plenty of room. The ferry back is that night is 66 Euro or it can be made into an overnight trip. Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Villa Bologna has limited street parking only and can be difficult on the day of the wedding. Nine Lives (brunch) will have free 3-hour parking at db San Antonio Hotel & Spa. We recommend getting around using the Bolt app which is fast and reasonably priced.
