"We met originally in high school when I was dating his friend. He was always the 'weird' one in the group in my opinion and I would NEVER in a million years have pictured that one day I'd be marrying him. Flash forward several years and we ran into each other again - while I was on a date with another guy! I had been hesitant to go on this date, but my mom said "Go, you never know, maybe you'll meet the love of your life" and I figured, worst case, I'd hopefully get a free meal out of it LOL! We went camping in Big Sur and he surprised me with a scavenger hunt up and down the coast with stops all along the way that had to do with meaningful moments we've shared as a couple. The last clue was received at the gorgeous waterfall that flows into the ocean in Big Sur and read 'Ready for the next adventure?' as I turned to look at him he was down on one knee with the ring in a shell from our trip to Thailand.
