Maid of Honor
Anya has been my bff since we were little. It also just so happens, we are cousins! We are three years apart and she’s always been like a little sister to me . Throughout my life, she has been the one I go to for everything. Besides J, Anya is my safe person. I know I can tell her anything without feeling like I’m going to be judged, and I know she will give me the honest truth. She encourages me daily be positive and always move in a forward direction. This is the day we have been talking about since we were little. I’m so lucky to have my best friend and “my chuther” to stand right next to me through it all.
Best Man
Adam,& I have been friends for over 20 years. We didn’t connect on our friendship,& become close till about our 7th-8th grade year. You could say we were almost inseparable at times. He’s been a true blessing in my life,& has always been there for me,no matter what time of day it was. We’ve been through a lot in our friendship, for both the ups,& downs life has presented us. I don’t know where I’d be without his sincere love,& care for me. He is the definition of a best friend. Adam honored me with having me as his Best Man,when he got married. It’s more than an honor to have him as my Best Man for this celebration,& for life.
Bridesmaid
Aimee and I have had the longest friendship and she is my childhood bestie . Since first grade, about 25 years now, we have been laughing, sharing stories and always been there for one another. We started out playing dress up and Barbies, jamming out to Spice Girls while doing “paper bag skits” at our Girl Scout meetings to working together at various jobs in Northeast in High School and bumming around Bar Harbor. Now we are both getting married! Aimee now lives and works as a nurse in Sarasota, Florida with her fiancé Brandon and new puppy Finn. Aim and have always had a great connection and friendship and I am so blessed she is still a constant and close friend of mine.
Groomsman
Leeman & I became friends back in high school, when we had a science class together. He,& I connected through sports,& listening to a lot of Wu-Tang,& OutKast. We’d play one on one basketball,& a lot of pickup games as well. He’s one of the funniest guys I know,& a genuinely hearted guy. I love knowing he’s one of my great friends,& can’t wait to celebrate Chels,& my day with him. Oh ladies,he’s single,& “Aims to please”
Bridesmaid
Jessie and I met by fate. When I first was injured, I truly felt as though there was no one that understood what my “new normal” was going to be. While being locked out of the apartments at the Shepherd Center, I noticed another young woman sitting, waiting in a chair similar to mine. She struck up a conversation and that was all we needed. We connected immediately and have been extremely close ever since. I can honestly credit most of my strength in my recovery to her and can’t imagine life without my “Southern sister”.
Groomsman
Talk about a guy who has helped me through some times,& been there to remind me how much I’m loved by God,& many others. Joel,& I met through mutual friends in high school,& our friendship grew throughout the years. We’ve been 2 on 2 teammates in basketball,& us two little guys held our own! Mainly because of Joel’s unblock able shooting form. Very blessed & honored to call him a close friend,& to share a beautiful moment with him.
Bridesmaid
Noelle and I met our first day of college at the University of Southern Maine. Living in the art dorm, we were a little different than most of the other students (not so artsy). We definitely saved each other and quickly became great friends. Through the craziness of life, we had lost touch for a while but after my injury she came to visit and we were immediately back where we started. She knows me so well, sometimes better than I know myself, and is a true friend I know I can always go to for advice on even the smallest of things. I’m so glad to have her as one of my best friends and bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Mario is the oldest of the 3 brothers I have. He & I have a close bond,& connection. He & I had some time alone as siblings, before my loving parents adopted our 3 youngest siblings. That time together, was like any other relationship between siblings would be,love & hate. We’ve definitely grown a lot throughout,& shown more love,& never hate. No matter how much of pain he has been,& can be,I am so proud of how much he has grown,& will always be his number one supporter.
Bridesmaid
I will never forget the first time I met Casey. The guy I had been dating at the time had gone over to her apartment to hang with Casey’s roommates boyfriend and I stayed home as I had a friend in town. I had just shut the lights off for bed when I heard the apartment door open and this quiet voice say “Hello, girlfriend??” multiple times. She came in and we started talking and laughing (hysterically!) and made plans to get together to work out. This lady will forever be one of my favorites and always makes me cry from laughing so hard. So blessed to have her friendship and to be there for us!
Groomsman
Ben’s another guy I became friends with during high school. His sense of humor, has made me nearly choke on my food or spit out my drinks. We’ve had some pretty fun,& crazy times hanging out. He’s one of the greatest guys I know. We may remind you during the celebration that,”Brothers don’t shake hands. Brothers gotta hug!”
Bridesmaid
Katy and I knew each other initially by having mutual friends in middle school. We became best friends playing soccer together our Freshman year of high school . After staying close all throughout those four years , we both made our way down to Southern Maine for college. Different areas, but we managed to stay close. Katy and I have always been able to pick up where we left off no matter how much time passes. She is a great and loving friend and I’m so happy to have her share this special day with me!
Groomsman
Chad is my oldest nephew, from my sister,Suzette. He’s also my Godson. Chad reminds me of my parents. Very hard worker,& loves his family. I know his grandparents are more than proud of him,& love him. Not proud to admit it,but haven’t been the best uncle to him & his brothers. Missed out on so many big/small moments of their lives. He’s been patient with me,& hopefully has grown to see I love him,& his brothers. Chad & I have gotten closer throughout the years. Really connected through sports. We show good sportsmanship with each other, when my Steelers,& his Chiefs play each other. Can’t wait for y’all to meet him,& happy to have him on my side.
Bridesmaid
My little ballet sister. Macy danced with my mom at the studio from the time she was three all the way up through high school. I knew who she was, but never had made a connection with her until we bonded over the same jacket as she was entering high school. Macy has always been one of my biggest supporters, one of the toughest people I know and truest friends. I couldn’t imagine not having her next to me on our special day.
Groomsman
Henry,he’s just an all around great kid. We met through work. Worked together for 8-9 years,& built on our friendship through those years. Has a great heart, would do anything to help his family,& friends. Always just wants to have fun,& not take life so seriously. Couldn’t go without having him as one of my groomsman. Plus we like to gang up on my brother Mario.
Junior Bridesmaid
Belle is my middle niece. She has always been a such a little person with the sweetest personality, always putting others first and just an all around great kid. An absolutely stunning ballerina and an absolutely wonderful friend. She has been the most excited about everything having to do with our wedding and I’m so happy to have her by my side for the most important day of my life!
