Some days I still can’t believe that I am going to be “Chelsea Vietti”. This man that I had admired from afar and always wanted to know is going to be my husband in just a few months! So thankful and blessed to have finally found my soulmate . Welcome to our wedding website! We hope you enjoy our story and what we’ve created as much as we do!
Justin and I officially met online. I had been on Plenty of Fish for quite awhile and had pretty much given up on it. I got on the app one day with plans of deleting it when I decided I would browse one last time. I saw his picture and knew he looked familiar and shortly after checking his profile, received a message. I told him about my injury and to my surprise, he was so accepting of me. We discovered not only that we had worked together twelve years ago but we both had a crush on one another and never had the courage to speak! For me, I had been intimidated by his good looks, and he 1)knew that the age difference wouldn’t fly with my parents and 2) thought I was a snob (unfortunately true). We made plans for him to come over to the house about a week later. I was BEYOND nervous to meet him in person. This man I had thought about and was so attracted to years ago was going to come over. What if there wasn’t a connection when we met in person? The minute J walked through the door, I was at ease. I couldn’t believe how easy he was to talk to and just was a person I needed to get to know. The night just flew by. I didn’t want him to leave! From that night on, we have just wanted to be together. It doesn’t matter what we are doing, just as long as we are in each other’s company. He is my best friend and the love of my life. We couldn’t be more blessed to have one another
I truly wasn’t rushing for a proposal. I knew I had found my soulmate and just was happy that we were together finally after so many years. We had talked about having a picnic on the land for awhile. It had been some time since we had been there and just felt like we needed to go and appreciate the beautiful piece of land. J had been working his typical crazy summer hours as he does so we slept in that day a little longer than I had hoped. I said I would skip out on my shower as it takes me so much longer to get ready. I just wanted to spend some quality time with my man, but he insisted that I do my regular routine and then we would head out. By the time I was all ready and in my chair that afternoon, it was a little after one. I was just ready to get out and have our time together. I received a text from my boyfriend saying “ Had to stop by Mario’s” and I immediately was annoyed. Why would he drive all the way to Ellsworth and back when we would be going in that same direction later? He finally arrived what felt like hours later. By the time we were ready to head out, it was late afternoon. I told Justin we could go another time, but he insisted we still make it over there for a long waited picnic. When we pulled up on the property, I saw that there was a canopy and table with food and flowers. This is what he had been doing all that time! We sat there and talked, ate some amazing food from Chow Maine and just were finally able enjoy being together when I started getting cold. I had just started to head over to our car while he cleaned up when he called me back saying he had a little gift for me. I closed my eyes reluctantly as I was sure it was a stuffed animal. To my absolute surprise when I opened them, there was THE most gorgeous ring I had ever seen in my life. I was so surprised!! Laughing at the shocked face I had , J almost forgot to say “will you marry me?”. It was the most perfect proposal. It was so romantic and sweet and just the two of us.
