Countryside Cafe (Wai'anae Location)
While we were living on the westside of Oʻahu, this was our go-to spot! Our favorite dish will always be the Corned Beef Hash Loco Moco. Berrrah, don't knock it 'til you try it. Yes, it's fattening but soooo worth it. You're welcome ;)
Puʻu O Hulu (Pink Pillbox) Trailhead
Masi has always been afraid of heights. However, he tackled THIS favorite hike of ours which is ALSO located on the westside of Oʻahu. I personally love a sunrise hike however, Waiʻanae is known for its beautiful sunsets. On another note, that VIEW...ugh. Can't go wrong. The view of my hometown is absolutely breathtaking.
Ko Olina
KoʻOlina is mine and Masis favorite past time because we basically raised our kids at these lagoons. The beach/lagoons itself are "unnatural", but it kept our keiki safe and happy all these years. Parking sucks though so go early!
Masa & Joyce Okazuya
Okay, THIS one's one of our newest favorite spots! I had to revisit this place to give it another shot because I was sort of disappointed the first time my best friend and I went. Masi and I stopped at this place after touring our wedding venue and IMMEDIATELY got hooked! He ordered the Hamburger steak plate which he rates it a 10/10. "Da gravy", he tells. I ordered a few of the okazuya items but highly recommend their spicy imitation crab rolls! It gives such a nostalgic feeling...ugh, just go try um, GO!
