Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Chelsea Noriega and Tacita Morway

Stroll Commercial Street

Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

Honestly, the best thing to do in ptown is simply wandering up and down Commercial Street. It runs along the waterfront is packed with great food, galleries, shops, ice cream spots, drag shows, street performers, and nonstop people-watching — all in one long, lively stretch. Grab a drink, walk without a plan, and just enjoy! If you get tired of walking, snag a pedicab ride - they're everywhere.

Rent a bike and hit the bike trails

Rent a bike in town (lots of places for this, just find the one closest to where you're staying) and head into the Province Lands — miles of winding paved bike trails through stunning dunes, pine forests, and beautiful ocean views that feel almost otherworldly. Absolutely worth the time!

Rent a boat or take the boat shuttle to the point

131A Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

Flyer's Boat Rentals offers a wide range easy boat rental options - kayaks, power boats, sail boats, seal tours and the highly recommended Long Point Shuttle!

Brunch at Liz's

31 Bradford Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

Best brunch in town by far - Liz's Cafe. 9-year old Tacita would grab breakfast here on her way to work at the barn every morning. Today, it's our favorite spot for brunch - highly recommend the Bloody Mary's!

Dinner at Sal's (complete other side of town from Ciro and Sal's)

99 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

BEST DINNER IN TOWN! Sal's - right next door to our place! - is a Provincetown institution — amazing food, waterfront magic, and laid-back chaos in the best way. Great food, drinks, and moon rise views. It fills up quickly, so you'll want to call ahead for reservations - and note: it's cash only.

Hike the Breakwater

Long Point Dike, Provincetown, MA 02657

Walk across the harbor on the iconic stone breakwater toward the lighthouse — a stunning walk with sweeping views of the harbor, the marshes, and back toward town. About a 2–3 mile round trip, best done at low tide with sturdy shoes and a little sense of exploration.

Lunch at The Crown & Anchor

247 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

Best people watching and eating - right in the center of town. We've never needed a reservation or had to wait. Highly recommend for the people watching alone.

Lunch and Frozen Drinks at The Canteen

225 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657

When you just want easy food, a frozen drink, and zero formality, head to The Canteen. Order at the counter, then wander out back to eat by the water at picnic tables with harbor views. It’s an ideal mid-day stop after the beach — easy, social, and very much part of the classic P-town rhythm.

Dinner at Ciro & Sal's

4 Kiley Court, Provincetown, MA 02657

Eat dinner where the proposal happened :) It's one of Ptown's best - truly beautiful and unique space with absurdly good food and drinks.
