Newport International Boat Show

This is one of Newport's biggest events of the year. A day pass is $30 and tickets go on sale on June 1. Check out the website for more details.

Cliff Walk

For some outdoor activity, the Cliff Walk is one of the most iconic features of Newport. Stretching seven miles, you'll get great ocean and mansion views on either side while getting some exercise in. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Ocean Avenue

Take a leisurely cruise along Ocean Avenue for views of some of the most stunning mansions on the island.

Tennis Hall of Fame Tennis Center

Empire Tea & Coffee

Empire was Chelsea's second home during grad school. The pumpkin spice and matcha lattes are top notch. This is the original and most eclectic location, but you can find the other shop on Bellevue Ave.

The Breakers

The most famous of the Newport Mansions, take a tour and learn about the Vanderbilts and Newport's gilded age.

Salve Regina University

Walk around the campus of the school that Chelsea attended for undergrad and her master's. Many of the academic and residential buildings are donated mansions, and the grounds are designated as an arboretum.

Newport Blues Café

Fun spot to see live music. There is usually a cover charge.

One Pelham East

Another fun bar for dancing and live music. This location tracks a little younger than Newport Blues.
