What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-casual attire.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Children are welcome and so loved, however, we will not hold it against you if you call the babysitter.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we will have a card/money box at our wedding venue. We will not have a registry.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask you to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start time. This gives everyone time to mingle, get settled, and find your seats before the wedding begins.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We would love to have everyone fully immersed and not distracted by their phone. After the ceremony everyone is welcome to take as many pictures as they'd like. Anyone wanting ceremony images taken by the photographer can request them from the Bride and Groom.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are welcome, we only ask that you indicate on your RSVP and include the name of your plus one so we have time to accommodate.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please have your RSVP in no later than August 6th. You can either mail, call, or the best option is visiting our website where you can RSVP. The RSVP link will be published on our website once invitations are sent. (www.zola.com/wedding/chelseaandhaakon)

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to the mother of the bride Deborah Abernathy if there are any other questions (i.e. food allergies, parking etc.) about our special day.

Where can I find information about travel and hotels?

Answer

For those coming from out of town, on our 'Travel' section on our website we have included the three main airports to fly into, as well as, Enterprise rental car located at each of those airports. For hotels, searching anywhere on your smartphone maps in the Spotsylvania or Fredericksburg area should put you no further than 45 minutes from the venue. We do have two Hilton hotels, the Tru by Hilton is 17 minutes away and the Homes2 location is a 25 minute drive.

Who is catering the event?

Answer

Mission BBQ is our caterer. The meal will include a choice of three meats and three side dishes. Meats include sliced brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken. The side dishes include mac-n-cheese, green beans and bacon, and baked beans. Sliders and cornbread will also be an accompaniment.

What is the selection of beverages?

Answer

Non-alcoholic beverages include sweet and unsweet tea, lemonade, and water. Alcoholic beverages include red and white wine, Coors light and a variety of white claws. Whiskey and vodka with a choice of coke and sprite will be served during our cocktail hour.
