Question

Will you be reserving room blocks for guests at a particular hotel?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a room block of 20 rooms for the nights of August 29 and 30 at the Seasons Lodge in Nashville, Indiana. Please see the travel tab for more information. Brown County, Indiana is also known for its cabins, so we would highly recommend you explore that option as well.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The parking lot at the Barn at Timber Ridge holds approximately 225 cars. We politely ask that you do not leave your car there overnight.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding venue, the Barn at Timber Ridge, has a lovely outdoor ceremony space overlooking a lake in the woods. The barn will serve as our indoor reception space. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Is the ceremony and reception space wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Both spaces are wheelchair accessible and have space for a wheelchair lift to be lowered just outside of each area.

When will the ceremony begin?

Answer

We would expect to have the ceremony sometime between 4:00pm and 5:00pm EST, however this may change as we set a more specific schedule for our special day!

What will happen in the event of inclement weather?

Answer

Although we are hoping to use the outdoor ceremony space, there is plenty of room inside the barn and we will have the ceremony there, along with the reception, in the event of inclement weather.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Chelsey and Matt are not having a "child-free" wedding. When invitations and RSVPs are sent out in the mail, it will be noted how many spaces have been reserved for you. Please reach out to Chelsey or Matt if you have any concerns or would like to discuss your travel plans.

What the venue's policy concerning children?

Answer

Our venue has many amazing features, including a photobooth room and an outdoor firepit. Because of these features, all children (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you decide to bring your children to our wedding, we would greatly appreciate it if you could monitor your children and respect our venue's policy.

We would expect the reception to end sometime around 10:00pm EST, however this may change as we set a more specific schedule for our special day!
