Mia is so important to Chelsea and has been the loving sister and friend Chelsea had always wanted growing up as an only child. Mia loves her animals (dog, cat, chickens) and loves weightlifting. Nicknames include Mip, Child, Mee-Uh.

Kelsey and Chelsea met on Bumble Friends, shopping for a local bestie :) They quickly became running buddies, which transpired into rodeo buddies, which transpired into just overall buddies! Kelsey is a true ride-or-die friend who comes to party.
Brennan Duran

Brennan has been a lifelong friend/brother to Matt. He lived across the street from Matt and Josh growing up and they hung out nearly every day. The Duran family is Matt's second family, they were there for the Gutzwiller boys through all the ups and downs of life. He may not have gone to A&M, but he did go to class with Matt and sign a pop quiz as Pudge Rodriguez. In which the prof was not happy with the class that following Monday.
Brooke Claypool

Brooke and Chelsea met in first grade in Grant City, MO. They were friends thru elementary, and especially in high school. From driving around backroads to drifting in snowy parking lots, to plenty of other questionable decisions (Black Friday shopping, ahem!), they have shared so much together. They have kept in close touch after all these years while living in different states for about 7 years!
Chase Dube

Matt met Chase at Texas A&M as they were in the same Statics and Materials classes together. Matt was in these classes with a friend, Dan, who he knew from the Junior College he attended before A&M. Chase was the "teachers pet" in class and knew all the answers the prof asked the first week. Dan wanted us to study together so he stopped Chase after class and asked. (I didn't really care to study with the teachers pet... just being honest) The first time we all 3 studied together was the last time all 3 of us studied together. Dan couldn't deal with the banter of Chase and I talking trash to each other half of the study session. Even after we no longer had classes together, we continued to study together as it was the only way could keep ourselves sane through HW and exam studying.
Kathleen Gutzwiller

Kathleen is Josh's (Matt's brother) wife! Chelsea and Kathleen met of course through the Gutzwiller boys. They have become close over the last few years and have shared many special moments together! Kathleen is always down for anything and is such a giving and selfless friend. Looking forward to many more years with you!
Thomas Stryker

Matt has known Stryker since they were in Cub Scouts together. (Well over 20 years) They competed in football in Middle school and were Boy Scouts together. Though Matt did not continue in these endeavors as Stryker did, they reconnected after college as they became roommate's when Matt moved to Houston. We were roommates for 4 years. Stryker became my best friend here in Houston and has always been there for me over the years.
Sydney Ewing

Sydney and Chelsea met at Crossfit Central Houston (CFCH). Chelsea showed up one day and was antisocial, but after a while Sydney broke the ice and talked to her. Chelsea always tried to keep up with Sydney in workouts, but Sydney was so good! Eventually they mostly stopped crossfitting, but stayed friends. After discovering that they have a lot of the same thinking patterns, we have been able to offer advice to each other when it matters :)
Dale Frankum

Where to begin. Matt met Dale for the first time after a last minute invite to join a team (due to a teammate drop out) to race Ragnar. This race consists of running 200 miles in relay format in a team of 6 through the Texas Hill Country backroads. As one person ran, the remaining 5 would drive to the next checkpoint and eat most of the time. It took them nearly 30 hours to complete. Talk about a way to really get close to someone. Matt and Dale bonded over their crazy goofy antics, Rick Flare Whoooo'ing the entire weekend, and their overeating the whole time (in which the rest of the team gave them a hard time about). Dale and Matt continue to go hunting in Colorado together over the last 3 years for 2 weeks at a time.
