Our favorite way to spend a Sunday! The NC State Farmers Market is one of those places that just makes you feel good — fresh air, amazing local produce, and some of the best food finds in Raleigh. We always start with an egg and cheese sandwich and a mango smoothie (it’s our little ritual), then wander through the market with a bag of hot, fresh Asian doughnuts in hand. Whether you're stocking up on fruits and veggies or just enjoying a slow morning stroll, it’s one of those spots that feels like a slice of home. Highly recommend going hungry!
It wouldn’t be us if we didn’t recommend at least one sushi spot — and trust us, Sushi Thai is the one. It’s our go-to for cozy dinners and sushi cravings, and their buy one, get one sushi rolls? Unmatched. We’ve tried a lot of sushi places around Raleigh, but this one always hits the spot (and the Thai food is great too if you’re feeling extra hungry). It’s low-key, delicious, and one of our absolute favorites. Pro tip: come hungry and prepare to roll out happy.
One of our favorite spots in Raleigh and the backdrop to more than a few of our date nights! Morgan Street Food Hall is a lively, eclectic space filled with local food vendors, craft cocktails, and cozy corners perfect for hanging out. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, ramen, ice cream, or just a great vibe, this place has something for everyone. It’s where we’ve shared everything from first bites to big laughs, so it holds a special place in our story. We hope you get a chance to explore it too!
An all-time favorite for us — Frankie’s is basically our go-to spot when we’re in the mood to feel like big kids. We’ve been here more times than we can count, both just the two of us and with friends, and it’s always a blast. Go-karts, mini golf, arcade games, laser tag… it’s impossible not to have fun here. Whether you’re chasing a high score or just looking to laugh till your face hurts, Frankie’s is the place. Grab a slushie, embrace your competitive side, and make some core memories — we sure have!
This spot is so much fun — we had one of our most memorable dates here and totally fell in love with the vibe. Jaguar Bolera mixes modern Latin cuisine, craft cocktails, and duckpin bowling all under one super stylish roof. It’s part restaurant, part game night, part “why don’t we do this more often?” kind of place. Whether you go for the food, the drinks, or just a round of bowling with friends, we promise you’ll leave smiling (maybe a little competitive, too). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a playful night out!
