Morikami Japanese Gardens
A great place to walk around and see wonderful flowers! There are expansive Japanese gardens with strolling paths, resting areas, a world-class bonsai collection and lakes teeming with koi and other wildlife.
Drive Thru Safari
Have kids with you? Make sure to take them to Lion Country Safari (in honor of Emily's Grandma, Susie) where you can drive in the safari then park and see some animals up close!
Mizner Park
Love shopping and eating and want to stay nearby? Walk around Mizner!
Wakodahatchee Wetlands
The created wetlands are free and open to the public. Wakodahatchee features a three-quarter mile boardwalk that crosses between open water pond areas and islands with shrubs and snags to foster nesting and roosting.
Green Cay Nature Center & Wetlands
Beautiful nature walk- sometimes you'll see alligators! The wetland features 1.5 miles of elevated boardwalk featuring interpretive signs about the habitat. The Nature Center includes a lecture hall, gift shop, and live animals in an extensive exhibit room that highlights wetland attributes.
Downtown Fun
Rated the #1 most fun small town in America and the home to Emily's parents (not a coincidence)! Downtown provides walking, shopping, eating, drinking, and beaches. Known as “Florida’s Village by the Sea,” it is a joy to visit.
