We have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to the coronavirus outbreak. We are heartbroken to have to push back our date, but our guests' health and safety is our priority. Our new date will be September 5, 2020, and we are still so excited to be getting married even if it may be four months later than originally planned! If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Stay safe!
Dennis and I met during the summer of 2015, more than four years ago by being set up by a mutual friend! Emily, one of my best friends from high school, met Dennis during college and decided to set us up. I had no idea what to expect, but the moment we met, we had an instant connection. We could talk for hours and had so much in common, especially our taste in music. The first time we met in person was at a fireworks show on July 3rd, and on July 24th we began dating! We have had an amazing past four years, are so excited about our new chapter, and we are endlessly grateful to Emily for setting us up!
I had this whole idea of when the proposal would happen and had told everyone that my plan was always to get engaged after my third year of pharmacy school, going into my fourth year, and getting married after graduation. Little did I know that Dennis couldn’t wait any longer and was planning to propose after my second year! The week of the proposal Dennis told me that he was going to take me to the Sun Dial, a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia with the most beautiful, panoramic view of the city. He said that this was to celebrate me finishing an incredibly challenging year of pharmacy school and invited our friends Chris and Lindsay too! After getting seated and placing our order, we went to the area at the Sun Dial with the panoramic view and began to take pictures. As Dennis and I were taking our photos, he turned around, got down on one knee, and proposed! I was so shocked and couldn’t believe that we were engaged! Chris and Lindsay were there to capture the moment with photos and videos, and we celebrated afterwords at the restaurant. A few weeks later we were able to continue celebrating on a trip we had been planning to Italy and Switzerland!
