Rental Car
Some guests may want to drive upstate by car. It's between 2.5-3 hours from Brooklyn (depending on traffic). There are plenty of car rental companies but we've found great deals with Kayak.com. Since September is a busy month, we recommend booking ASAP. Let us know if you have any questions!
Train
The Amtrak service is available from New York Penn Station to Hudson, NY (HUD) with trains leaving multiple times a day. You can then Uber/Lyft/or Taxi from Hudson station to the hotel (about 25 mins).
Flight
LGA is a hub for a lot of domestic flights coming into the U.S. Almost all the major airlines fly into La Guardia. It's about a 20 min drive from where we live in Brooklyn, 45-60 min drive into Manhattan, or a 2.5 hour drive to our venue, The Woodhouse Lodge, Greenville, NY.
Flight
Majority of International flights arrive at JFK airport in Queens. It's a 35 min drive from Brooklyn, approx a 60-75 min drive from Manhattan or a 2-hour 40 min drive directly to our venue at The Woodhouse Lodge in Greenville, NY.
Flight
If you'd like to fly closer to Upstate New York from your destination, the airport has multiple flights a day connecting from other U.S. hubs. Albany International Airport is approximately 40 mins drive to our venue The Woodhouse Lodge, a 50 min drive to Hudson, NY or a 50 min drive to Glen Falls House.
