Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Christine Lin

Maid of Honor

Christine and I met when we were just babies...literally!! Since then, we've always shared a special bond. Our memories started from summer pool playdates, to having joint birthday celebrations as adults. She's always been my go-to for advice or just a listening ear. She takes amazing travel photos, loves making ice cream (and eating it), running, and should become a professional instagram punny caption maker. Instead...she’s on the path to being an amazing doctor!

Ali Malik

Best Man

Ali is one of my oldest friends and over the years, we have made some of the best memories together (some too embarrassing for this site though). We met at the UTD gym and who would've thought that we would become best friends after the classic "Can I get a spot, bro?" I couldn't have asked for a more loyal and true friend. Ali is someone I can always depend on and I would not be the man I am today if it wasn't for him. I really have the honor to have him as my best man.

Emily Lin

Maid of Honor

I first met Emily back in 3rd grade when my parents invited Emily’s parents to our house for dinner (she had just moved to TX). We instantly became best friends. Growing up, we had countless sleepovers staying up late playing with makeup. We spent every year going to church retreat and camps together, even wearing matching outfits! Emily has always been the most supportive friend through all these years. She never fails to brighten someone's day! And If you didn't already know this...she's kind of famous on tik-tok, and also went viral on the internet. She loves making people laugh!

Chris Chau

Groomsman

I remember meeting Chris at UTD years ago and it's crazy that we went from apartment parties in Phase 8 to him being my groomsmen! You would never guess that Chris is Abby's older brother because somehow he still has the energy to go out as much as I did in college LOL. But he has this energy and passion about life that I really admire. He's the kind of guy that is living life to the fullest and I can't wait to officially have him as my brother-in-law.

Catherine Vu

Bridesmaid

Catherine is my future sister-in-law! Michael and Catherine share a very close relationship, so I knew if I needed anyone's approval, it would be her! But after hearing so much about her, and then finally getting to know her, I knew there was no doubt we would get along! She has been so welcoming and loving to me and we already have so much in common! Her spunky personality is infectious.

Forrest Linch

Groomsman

Forrest is one of the most thoughtful and intentional guys I have ever met. What I really admire most about him though is the fortitude and commitment he has to have to deal with the rollercoaster that is my sister. It doesn't seem that long ago when i first met you at Pappadeaux as Catherine's boyfriend and over the years, I am so incredibly thankful to have you as my brother-in-law. Now we are here on my wedding day and I can't wait to have you by my side!

Caitlyn Yates

Bridesmaid

Caitlyn and I met each other at Trinity University freshman year! We lived in the same dorm hallway, and she shortly became my unofficial roommate, and became roommates the next year! After I left Trinity, we were able to still see each other in Dallas and even a trip to San Francisco! We've shared so many memories...from very sweet...to super embarrassing....college would not have been the same without her! Caitlyn loves a strong cup of coffee, traveling, and she’s gonna be the most amazing anthropologist you’ve ever met. Oh, not to mention she’s an amazing writer with published articles!

Shyam Vedantam

Groomsman

Me and Shyam go way back...sneaking Chick-Fil-A out from the Comet Cafe back. Shyam is probably one of the funniest guys I have met and honestly, I am sorry for everyone that has not gotten a chance to see his parody of Justin Timberlake's skit on SNL. Over the years, Shyam has been an incredible friend and we were lucky enough to share the journey of medical school together. The only regret I have over the years is that we did not get to eat more Ike's Sandwiches when we had the chance.

Tiffany Wong

Bridesmaid

I met Tiffany at church when we were kids, but our friendship didn’t blossom until we were in 6th grade and we went on a youth winter retreat and stayed in the same cabin! We bonded over Paramore songs and now we are closer than ever! My favorite memories of us are probably our high school days. We never went to the same school, but that never stopped up from hanging out constantly outside of it! Tiffany has a fiery personality, and she’s always been entertaining to be around. Tiffany is a yelp elite member, a foodie, and loves riding her peloton bike.

Justin Nayak

Groomsman

Nayak aka the human compass aka Mr. "What a TWIST!". He is pretty much the reason why we never got lost on our West Coast road trip. Me and Nayak go way back to high school, back when he knew me as the guy that carried around a galloon of water. I feel lucky to have had him as a friend over years because he is low the key the funniest person you'll meet. And you would never guess it but he makes some really good deviled eggs.

Jessica Jan

Bridesmaid

Jessica and I met in middle school through church. We spent many of our high school days together. The number of funny and ridiculous moments we’ve had together are countless. She is my social butterfly and life of the party. She recently moved to Hong Kong to live out her dreams! But no matter how much time has passed, we always pick up like nothing happened! Jessica has a passion for fashion, meeting new people, and maybe you'll even get to see her dance on a table at the wedding.

Timothy Nguyen

Groomsman

Brooooooo. He is probably the friendliest person you will ever meet and when you look at him now, you would have never guessed he was rocking a buzz cut and a flip brick phone in college. One of my favorite memories of Tim is when devoured an entire rotisserie chicken by himself before our road trip. He really showed me what it means to have an infectious, positive personality and I have always admired that about him. Hope he brings that same kind of energy to the wedding ;)
