When I decided to go to University City High School who would've thought I'd meet Brynne, the love of my life? What began as a joke between friends and classmates blossomed into a beautiful romance. Although the relationship was great we decided to take some time apart due to attending different universities. Years later, on my 21st birthday, I received an anonymous gift. Surprised and adamant to find out who to thank, I ran outside and asked the delivery driver who sent the gift. I was very shocked to find out it was from my high school sweetheart, Brynne. I reached out to him on Instagram, we planned a day to catch up to watch the sunset, and the rest is history.

2022 was the year I decided to plan my future, that summer the plan was set in motion. I started by designing a ring and asking her mom for her blessing. In 2023 we planned a vacation to Cancun and it hit me- that’s when I’m going to ask her. Although Chaunielle put up a fight to take and walk on the beach I did not let that stop me. She was annoyed because she did not know what was going on but I got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. I’m so happy she said yes and I am so lucky to see that light in her eyes for the rest of my life.
