Yes, please dress in formal attire. And bring the heat! The ceremony will be outdoors on a deck, so don't worry about sand in your shoes. It will also be during the late afternoon, so the weather will still be warm, but the sun won't be so high. The reception will be indoors. Plan to do a lot of dancing! As far as colors? NUDE ON THE BEACH. Give us your best and baddest browns, tans, chocolates, and everything in between! This part of the dress code is optional. But you won't want to be left out of the pictures!
Please reach out to the bride and/or groom as soon as possible so we can make sure your dietary restrictions are considered.
Most of our friends and family have children, so we understand that it would be very difficult for some to make childcare arrangements for international travel. If you aren't able to leave the kiddos for this trip, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you. But please note that this is going to be an adult party. That is all we'll say about that! PS. The bride has nightmares about kids screaming during the vows or running across the floor during the first dance. If you are bringing children, please help to ensure these nightmares don't come true!
We would like to plan an excursion the day after the wedding. As we confirm the arrangements, we'll reach out to guests to gauge interest.
If you book using the link provided on the Travel section of this website, your stay will be all-inclusive (alcoholic beverages included). The hotel has beautiful pools. Technically, there is a beach, but because the resort is so close to the city, the beach isn't the prettiest. If the pools aren't enough for you and you want a nice beach, look into a day trip to Isla Saboga.
First, get your passport (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html). Plan for this process to take up to four months, so please don't delay this step! Take it from us, you may also want to invest in Global Entry if you plan on taking more international trips; the process to get back into the US is dreadful without it. Global Entry also gets you TSA pre-check, so you can skip the long lines and keep your shoes on while going through security. The flight to Panama is about five hours non-stop from NY/NJ. You won't need any COVID test results or other documentation to get into the country. The country accepts US dollars as currency. Bring sunscreen and your beautiful smile.
