Wedding Party

Become acquainted with our inner circle- our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us and participating in our special day

Tenelle Hill

Matron of Honor

My oldest cousin. More like a sister. Every little kid has that older sibling or person they always look up to and want to be like; Tenelle was always that for me growing up, and remains that. She has shown so much strength, and smiles beautifully through it all. Tenelle has always believed in me no matter what, and has always been such a big cheerleader for me growing up and even now. To have her on your side feels like winning the lottery because no one goes more all-in for the people they love than she does, and if you know she's in your corner, you know you'll go far. She is beautiful, loving, creative, innovative and makes the world feel brighter with every smile, kind word, and every moment spent with her.

Jessica Corbin

Maid of Honor

My best friend since high school. We bonded sharing the same fourth period class the first three years of high school, and when they tried to separate us senior year, one of us changed our class schedule so that we could end our high school career in the same class. We've been inseparable ever since. Jessica has a subtle sense of humor; she is ridiculously hilarious. She is fiercely loyal, forgiving, and a true ride or die. I could not ask for more in a friend. I truly feel like we are kindred spirits. She's my go-to for advice, and one of the people who knows me best, so much so that she can tell me what I'm thinking, what is right for me, or what I'm going to do even before I know.

Genesis Merritt

Bridesmaid

My youngest cousin. The kindest soul and gentlest spirit. But with a subtle strength all her own, there's no one you'd rather have on your side. Genesis was always the quiet one of us Merritt grandchildren, growing up, but when she does talk she always has something entertaining to say. She may be the baby, but she can hold her own with the rest of us, and her humor, support, and confidence is the completion of our circle. Genesis is talented, adventurous, and just all around fun and real.

Brittany Calloway

Bridesmaid

My cousin and dear friend. Brittany has a sweet nature about her that just glows. She is the one that you can count on to make you feel loved and truly supported. She's there with a welcoming smile and embrace no matter what, and she's always so helpful and generous. I look forward to having her happiness, radiance, and positive energy by my side on my special day.

Diamyn Woods

Bridesmaid

My oldest friend in the world. We met playing softball as little girls, ended up going to high school together, and have been friends for 27 years. She has always, always been bold when I am shy, reassuring when I need her to be, confident in a way that is envious, honest when it's important, and the crazy friend when it's time to have fun. She was my closest teammate, once was my campaign manager when I ran for student government vice-president in high school, and is now that friend that is a constant in my heart even when we're apart. She's the friend that you can go months without speaking to, but once you reconnect it's like picking back up right where you left off without missing a beat. Diamyn is a true loyal friend, and always has my back.

Ebonee Dixon

Bridesmaid

My long-time friend. We met as two college students bonding over shared dislike of our crappy summer job. Ebonee is the Carrie Bradshaw to my Miranda Hobbes, and has seen me through the best and worst of times. She has a glamour about her that radiates through. A realist, Ebonee tells it like it is and will always let you know right where you stand with her. In our friend group, she's always been the heart. the balance, the stability. She's a person that you look at and know that there's simply nothing she can't do. She will support you, make you laugh, and set you straight you when you need it.

Emerald Anderson-Ford

Bridesmaid

My long-time friend. Another survivor of the crappy summer job, and the most entertaining person one could know. Emerald is always the life of the party and just a wonderful force of nature. The great thing about Emerald is that when you're with her you never know what's going to happen, where the day or night will take you. She's the most daring, spontaneous, intelligent, person I know. She's supportive, always knows just what to say, and is someone who makes you pay attention to the world around you and see things in a whole new way you never thought of before.

Dallas Merritt

Junior Bridesmaid

My niece, and one of my favorite people in the world. Dallas is smart beyond her years, so caring and protective of the people she loves in her own little way, and the sweetest little girl in the world. She loves to sing and dance, and has a fierce desire to ensure that the people around her always do what's right. She is a sharp observer of things so advanced for her age, and I have no doubt that one day she could change the world.

Amyra Lane

Junior Bridesmaid

My second cousin; Amyra is a ball of energy and a joy to know. She is intelligent, funny, and very mature for her age. She's a caring and responsible big sister, a protective cousin, and it is so heartwarming to watch her grow to become the beautiful young lady she is.

Scott Faucher

Best Man

Scott is my only sibling. He is my Junior by a little over 2 years. Besides my parents, Scott is the person who knows me the most intimately. In the past, there were times when Scott would be my best friend, as well as my rival. Scott is a good guy. He's the kind of guy who takes care of others first. For example, he sometimes turns down gifts or things people offer him, but always thinks of sending others gifts to make them feel special. In fact, quite often- I feel like he’s the nicer guy; the better man; the superior person. He’s less selfish than I. Scott is genuinely good at heart without being painfully so or falsely/suspiciously so. Yet, he's not a pushover; he also stands tall and strong.

Dexter Merritt II

Groomsman

Only sibling of the bride, and the person she holds dearest to her heart. DJ is the funniest person, and super intelligent. Something most people don't know about him is that he fiercely believes in standing up for others. He will defend those who are being treated badly with a strength and intensity that can only make those of us who love him proud. He's quiet until you get to know him, but once you do you will never laugh more or be more entertained. He's strong enough to always stand his ground when he believes he is right about something, and does not hesitate to say how he truly feels.

Kris Salvi

Groomsman

I met him in Elementary school, and what I first recall of him, is that he looked and acted peculiar- when compared to other 4th Graders. He voluntarily dressed in formals suits, had long ruffled hair, and always carried a homemade lunch in a blue Batman lunch box. I think what fascinated me about Kris Salvi, was that he was a kid with a lot of charisma, he acted like an old man in a boy’s body, and appeared to not care about what others thought of him. He’s a grandiose, larger than life personality; the life of the party. Talkative, loud, over-the-top funny, Kris Salvi is a force to be reckoned with. With him, I feel 100% comfortable “shooting the breeze” about anything/nothing, and everything in between.

Ben Peterson

Groomsman

Ben is that not exactly a normal guy. Once you get up close to him, you can see that he’s a bit of a goofy oddball. What I admire the most about him, is that if he becomes determined to accomplish something, he is unstoppable. For example, in High School, he practiced playing guitar for roughly 5 hours a day, most days a week. And he got pretty good at playing his instrument! And I respect how, once he fell in love with his future wife Jessica, he fully committed to her from that point on.

Lee Ricciuti

Groomsman

Lee has always been a bit of a “mystery man” to me. He was very much a loner growing up and always had a critical mind with a craving to absorb the studies of Arts and Sciences. He was always more mature for his age; even as a teenager, during family holiday gatherings I can recall him being more comfortable sitting at the “adult” table and immersed in deep conversations about the news, politics, and religion. He’d feel quite at peace getting lost in a book or listening to music. He loves playing bass guitar and drawing sketches. Someone who is not competitive by nature, he marches to the beat of his own drum.

Ross Ricciuti

Groomsman

Ross is a very likeable “all-American” guy when it comes to his love for sports, versatility in what he knows, and adaptability when dealing with others. He is a very welcoming person in a sense that I can picture Ross befriending a wide range of people. He is very smart, adaptable to the situation, and non-judgmental when dealing with others. Since my cousin Ross is 1 year my Junior, and because we were very close growing up, I like to think of him more as a brother than a cousin. And it was much later into adulthood that Ross mailed me an old elementary school paper with the topic of “someone you admire” and he picked me…and I thought that was very touching.
