What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is dressy casual. Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, revealing clothing, and athletic wear is not allowed. Ladies, please be careful in stiletto heels. Although the wedding is not in the sand, the boardwalk can still have uneven points that can trap skinny heels.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We will have cash fund for our honeymoon and future endeavors. The cash fund will be available through the wedding website under "Registry". There will also be a setup for envelopes at the wedding. We are also registered through Amazon for home improvements. The registry can be found under the "Registry" tab or through this link: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/ChassidyandJovelWedding

Are children allowed?

Answer

As much as we love the kiddos, unfortunately, no. This is an adults only wedding. I understand you may still want to bring your children as part of your vacation, so the resort does have a family friendly side connected by small boat or walking. (Accommodations can only be made for those who are in the wedding party.)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are blessed to have so many family and friends support us on our special day; so much so that we will not be able to accommodate any plus ones. Invites are specifically for people on the invitation. If someone on the invitation can not make it, and you like to bring someone else, please ask Chassidy or Jovel for approval.

Will this be an unplugged Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

There will be a photographer and videographer present. Therefore, please keep phones to a minimum, so they won't be in the professional content.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Please RSVP on our wedding site under the "RSVP" tab.

The RSVP is not working. What should I do?

Answer

If you try to input your name to RSVP and it does not work, try putting in your plus one's name. If that also does not work, please click the link that states "contact the bride and groom". This will notify them that it did not work for you and they will be able edit the RSVP for you themselves.

How do I book my room?

Answer

Room selections were sent out on 6/5/2023. If you did not reply to that message, you can contact our travel agent, Vacation Vibes by Vee. For daily response, please email vacationvibesbyvee@gmail.com. If you need immediate response, please call 832-372-8591.

Can I still get a room after July 14?

Answer

Yes! We still have rooms available at a good rate! It may not be the same rate as before July 14th, but it will still be a better deal than what the resort website offers. Contact our travel agent Vee to book!

How much are the rooms?

Answer

Please see our "Payments" tab for information on room rates, and how to make payments. These prices are subject to change after July 14th, but our travel agent will be able to provide better rates than the resort website.

Are flights included in the price?

Answer

Flights are not included in the price. You are responsible for booking your own flights since we do not know everyone's schedule. If you are in the room blocking, please make sure your flights are booked for at least Thursday, 4/18/2024-Sunday, 4/21/2024. How do I make payments for my room?

Answer

Deposits to secure your room are due 07/14/2023. The deposit will be $100/person. After, there will be monthly payments for your remaining balance which will need to be fulfilled by 60 days before the wedding on 2/20/2024. All payments will be made to our travel agent Vacation Vibes by Vee. Please contact her by call or text at 832-372-8591 or by email at vacationvibesbyvee@gmail.com Please use the "Payments" tab for quicker access to this information.

Can you explain the family section of the resort?

Answer

Of course! Although our wedding does not allow children, we understand our event is only one night and you may still want to make this a vacation and bring your children. While TRS Coral Hotel is the Adults-Only hotel, it is owned by and connected to Grand Palladium, a family resort. You can take a look at the resort here: https://www.palladiumhotelgroup.com/es/hoteles/mexico/costamujerescancun/grand-palladium-costa-mujeres-resort-spa Please pay close attention to the rooms. The ones that say "Family Selection" are closer to the kid activities and the adult bar ;) Also, please be aware that adults that book on the family side can NOT come over to the TRS Coral Hotel adults only side unless it is for wedding activities.

What if I want to stay somewhere else?

Answer

If you would like to stay somewhere else that is perfectly fine. However to attend the wedding, our resort will require you to pay for a day pass for the price of $150/person the day of our wedding. This is because once you step onto the resort, you will have access to all of their all inclusive restaurants, buffets, bars, and pools. Therefore, I highly recommend the room blocking at our resort.

How do I book the shuttle to and from the airport?

Answer

Unfortunately, as of right now the resort does not provide a shuttle to and from the airport. We will work on seeing if transportation can be provided for our wedding guests. If not, I recommend booking a shuttle through our travel agent or third party booking sites such as Expedia. You may also use transportation at the hotel/airport such as taxis, shuttle services, and car rentals at your own discretion.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 6pm CST. Please arrive early. With the wedding taking place outdoors, it will be a short ceremony.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline will be two months before the wedding on 2/20/2024. We understand plans change so if you have already RSVP and need to make changes, please let Chassidy or Jovel know BEFORE 2/20/2024. If you have not RSVP by then and miss the deadline, you will NOT be accounted for, so PLEASE make sure you book everything and RSVP in a timely manner.

Will the events take place indoors or outside?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be 30min-1 hour outdoors at sunset. The reception will be indoors.

There will be an open bar at the reception.

What's the move after the reception?

Answer

As of right now, there are currently no after party plans, but y'all know us so stay tuned ;)

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We really appreciate everyone coming so far out to celebrate with us, so we are planning a fun event the day before or day after wedding. There will also be a small, intimate bridal shower in Houston a few months before the wedding. Further details to come.
