Question

UPDATED Can I RSVP online? By when should I RSVP?

Answer

Absolutely! In fact, we'd prefer it. It's much easier to keep track of everyone when it is all in one place without worrying about emails, texts, or paper RSVPs. Please have all RSVPs by December 14, 2024.

Question

What if I can't come?

Answer

We totally understand and still love you. For both families in KY and GA, we will have a "Celebrate with the Newlyweds" gathering in the later part of 2025.

Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

100%. If you do not have one just yet, they are averaging about 3-4 months to process.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

All wedding activities and events will be held at the Sandals Royal Curacao Resort. The wedding and reception will be outdoors and in a potentially grassy area. We'd encourage comfortable shoes. Food and spirited drinks are all included, all unlimited. Even the stocked minibar in the rooms is complimentary! Enjoy various land and water sports, and go on scuba diving and snorkeling trips - all without worrying about the bill at checkout. Guests can also enjoy golf on premises at an additional fee.

Question

Are there room blocks? What about flights?

Answer

For airfare and accommodations, please contact our Travel Advisor: Trece (Clora) Black treceblack@yahoo.com (859) 494-5417 Curacao Airport: Hato International (CUR) Guests of Sandals Royal Curaçao generally arrive at Curaçao International Airport (CUR). Your complimentary transfer to Royal Curaçao will take you on a scenic drive to the resort.

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy, beach casual. For this time of year in Curacao, may we suggest the following attire: Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor reception on the lawn. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.

Question

What can I expect of the weather?

Answer

Average temperatures in Curacao during late-March range from a low of 77 degrees to a high of 86 degrees. Average precipitation tends to be the lowest of the year at less than .60 in.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Sandals Royal Curacao is an adults only resort intended for couples; however, it is not couples only. If you are not married or not bringing your spouse, you can absolutely bring a plus one. Please be sure to add their name to the RSVP so we can properly welcome them :-)

Question

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be no pork options but if you have additional sensitivities, please let us know. We are happy to accommodate as much as possible.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos? What about posting on social media?

Answer

Definitely! Since we won't see every moment, we'd love our guests to share their experiences and photos with us. There will be a QR Code to share photos and videos as well as the hashtag #CuteAsABurton to share on social.
