What should I bring?

Answer

Slippers and warm socks, some comfortable pretty dress-wear, walking/dancing shoes, a warm hat and scarf and coat if it is chilly, maybe tights/tall socks just in case. Colors? Earthy colors preferred for wedding party & guests, but no pressure.

Where is your registry? Are we expected to bring gifts?

Answer

In place of the typical registry... For those who want to help us out financially or leave us a sentimental thank you note, we are will be collecting envelopes. They can be labeled with your name, decorated, or designated however you desire! If you feel compelled to share a physical form of your affection, please consider a homemade item or a consumable like eggnog or cider. Please do not feel expected to give us anything other than your company and love.

Will there be alcohol and will it cost $$?

Answer

Yes and no! We will be providing an open bar with Mulled Cider (both alcoholic and non), general liquor, mixers, and wine galore. We will be creating the menagerie ourselves straight from the store, and we expect all adults present to use it responsibly. Everyone is allowed and encouraged to bring their own drinks, beer will not be provided.

Will there be non-alcoholic drinks?

Answer

Yes. Coffee, Tea, Cider, Eggnog, and virgin mixed drinks are expected.

Will I be able to bring my pet?

Answer

Yes! We would love to have your pets keep us company as long as you remain in charge of keeping them safe. We would like to limit their use of the indoor space as we will have to vacuum up after them, but if you can bring a pet bed for overnight they should be all set. Also consider camping with them, they can share your sleeping bag if they are small or have a sleeping bag to themselves if they are big!

Can I offer help?

Answer

Please, by all means! Cooking/Baking? We are looking for a couple cooks Friday night, Saturday morning and maybe Sunday, maybe bakers to prepare some muffins ahead of time, or other pastries. Facilitator? We will need people interested in helping us coordinate with the various people, tent rental, catering, etc. Decor? We are definitely looking for helpers to set up the decor in the morning after they put up the tent. Also contributions such as pumpkins and other gourds, & fall harvest like apples and yams. You can bring them home or we can cook them after. Music? We have playlists of music that is very special to us and we are planning to set up our own speakers, but we could use someone who wants to keep the music in tune with the night for us. You'd be an informal DJ, but you wouldn't have to stay with it all night, just help us when we are too busy to do it. We would want you to get to know our playlists ahead of time so please reach out!

So when are you having kids?

Answer

Never, sorry~ While we may not have children of our own, we'll be sure to loving raise several kids (all horned and cloven).
