Best Man
Andy and Chase first met freshman year of college through mutual friend (and group strongman) Jackson. After basically living in his room second half of freshman year (and actually living at his house the summer after freshman year), Chase and Andy were roommates/housemates for the remainder of college, including a half year stint running around Australia (where they probably spent 99% of their time within 20ft of each other). Before Suzy, Andy was Chase's go-to adventure buddy, late night dunk idea confidant, and beer pong partner. After Suzy, he's runner up for all those things, and there is nobody Chase would rather have by his side on his big day.
Maid of Honor
Sam is Suzy’s older sister and has been there for Suzy from the beginning. She was Suzy’s first friend and partner in crime throughout childhood. They had some legendary tales together playing catch with bricks, doing donuts in the go kart, starting several failed businesses, and competing in every sport they learned and made up! Sam was always there looking out for Suzy and although Suzy (particularly Suzy’s head) didn’t always escape their adventures unscathed, Sam definitely saved Suzy in at least occasion (may have involved a parachute design that she's not particularly proud of). There is no one Suzy would rather have alongside her on big day.
Groomsman
Andrew has known Chase longer than just about anyone! From growing up together collecting various things (coins, cards, various themed pieces of plastic) to foraging for exotic berries on family vacations, Andrew is right there in almost all of Chase's fond childhood memories. Always one to follow in his brother's footsteps, Chase has Andrew to thank for getting involved in high school band and robotics club, for four awesome years at UMD, and even for his job at SpaceX (and by association meeting Suzy!). In addition to sharing a last (not first!) name, Chase is honored to share his big day with Andrew.
Bridesmaid
Anna is a good friend of Suzy and Chase as they all interned together during their first stint at SpaceX. Anna and Suzy were roommates during that time and explored LA together, surfing in pools, pushing beds together, and Feliz Navidad’ing all over town. Suzy is honored to have Anna by her side for the biggest adventure yet!
Groomsman
While commiserating over difficult to understand French Professor Mellet in freshman year calculus, Jackson became one of Chase's earliest friends at the University of Maryland. Accomplishments include getting Chase out to the gym for serious gains, teaming up to attend nearly every UMD basketball game, and loaning out a hat (and more) for Chase's first bar outing. Next up, helping Chase tie the knot!
Bridesmaid
Emily may as well have been Suzy’s sister. Growing up she played soccer with Suzy and Sam, and although she was originally Sam’s friend, she became part of the family and was really close with Suzy as well. Throughout high school Emily, Suzy, and Sam could often be found together probably eating some unhealthy snacks and doing whatever high schoolers do! Suzy is elated to have Emily alongside her and her siblings once again as she officially grows her family.
Groomsman
Will seems to have been a vital part of all of the major accomplishment in Chase’s life: 82-0 perfect record in high school first exhibition tennis, global championship basketball season for the Lake Linganore Lawnchairz, reigning last place in the FCPS marching band festival 3 years in a row, and record time in the chocolate milk half gallon hands challenge. It’s only fitting Will should be standing there for perhaps Chase’s biggest success yet, getting married to Suzy!
Bridesmaid
Shay is another of Suzy’s sisters, and while they have many found childhood memories together, they became particularly close while they were both in high school, often staying up late together making supply runs to the grocery store to get ingredients for elaborate midnight meals. Suzy is honored to have Shay by her side on her big day.
Groomsman
Joining the UMD crew in year three after several weekend visits, Will was the resident house Dad, keeping everyone in line, ensuring adequate video games were played, and cooking up fantastic dinners (specialties include fried deer heart and squirrel pot pie). Plus, he’ll always pick you up if you’re having a rough day, and Chase is thrilled to have him alongside for his best day yet.
Bridesmaid
What! Another sister?!? Sophie is Suzy’s final and youngest sister. Despite a 10 year age gap, Suzy and Sophie shared several fond childhood memories. It has been such an incredible joy to see Sophie from the little dweeb that picked fights with Shay to the smart, funny, and unique young lady she is now. Suzy is honored to share her big day with Sophie.
Groomsman
Rounding out the trio of Andrews, Andrew Fein was Chase's engineering project partner and good friend since freshman year. Always one to be the impetus behind the next wild dorm project, Andrew certainly kept life at UMD interesting, and Chase is honored to have him standing with him as he starts his next chapter in life.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa is one of the first people Suzy met in college as they were both incoming freshmen on the soccer team. Pretty much all of Suzy’s close friends from college can be traced back through Alyssa introducing her O'Fallon gang. The group stayed close all through college, with Suzy and Alyssa even ending up as housemates towards the end. That house may still hold the Rolla record for most ices hidden during a single semester. Suzy is honored to have Alyssa on her team once again as she starts the next chapter in life.
Ring Bearer
I think the nickname Clutch says all you need to know about Dylan. Dylan is Suzy’s godson and is one of the smartest, funniest, and coolest little dudes Chase and Suzy have in their life. There is no one else that Suzy and Chase would trust more to carry their rings on their big day!
Flower Squad
Flower squad is coming in strong. First up we have no other than Scout Searle who has been quoted as "probably able to walk" by the wedding; she may not be coordinated enough to throw flowers, but she's definitely cute enough to make you smile! Secondly we have Harper, known to stay laser focused on the task at hand unless there's a bird, squirrel, little kid, or rustling tree nearby; she's also second most likely to put the flowers in her mouth instead of throwing them. Finally, wrangling the bunch we have Hunter; some say he might be a bit old for the job but he thinks he can throw the flowers furthest of the three.
Officiant
Chase and Suzy are honored to have Chase's Uncle Mark Stein officiate their wedding. In exchange for his services, they have agreed to name their first born after him, provide one free rocket launch, or make sure his cup is kept full during the reception.
