Suzy was born and raised in McCordsville, IN. Suzy grew up a bit out in the middle of nowhere with her parents Joan and Bruce and siblings Sam, Shay, and Sophie. They were accompanied by too many dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and snakes to name! When she was younger, Suzy tried to play every sport available to her but ended up specializing in soccer which she went on to play at Missouri University of Science and Technology. While there she earned degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Suzy took a co-op with SpaceX for the spring semester of 2016 and had no idea how much that would define the rest of her life. Chase was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. He grew up hiking and traveling with his parents, Paul and Suzy (different Suzy), his brother, Andrew, and their beloved schnoodle Domino. Chase dabbled in soccer and basketball before settling on playing trumpet for the marching band and tennis in the best exhibition duo Frederick County had ever seen. He went off to the University of Maryland to study Mechanical Engineering which eventually led him to the love of his life.

In January 2016, they each set out on an adventure west to work at SpaceX. With desks next to each other and apartments not that far apart, they quickly became entwined in shenanigans including work parties, weekends out in Venice, pool kegs, and late nights in the hot tub. After 4 quick months, they parted ways, never to be seen again…. Until the summer of 2017 brought them back to Los Angeles for full time work! They moved into their first apartment (just friends!) and were soon back at it working hard and enjoying all that LA had to offer. On March 11, one week after an unforgettable first kiss in downtown LA, Suzy and Chase decided to start dating. From the first week of dating it was meant to be; Suzy told Chase she loved him on day 5 late one night in a Vegas piano bar and they started a joint bank account the next day. The next few years were a blur of date nights, 2 new apartments/houses, and various travels across the country and world. In March 2020, their family grew with the addition of a loveable and goofy Husky-Shepherd mix Harper (see photos tab for maximum cuteness). After almost 3 years of being sure she was the one for him, Chase proposed to Suzy on February 14th (cheezy, we know) of 2021 on Catalina Island. Suzy said "YES!" (obviously, that's why there's a wedding) and the planning of these festivities and a happy life together began….
