Wedding Party

Chase Yeakel (Chasers)

Bride

Born in Bellevue, WA. Raised in Bend, OR. Went to school in Pullman, WA. Lived in Los Angeles, CA, where she met the love of her life. Currently journeying through life with Rich and their 2 year old lab, Scotch, in Charlotte, NC!

Rich Lockridge (Tricky)

Groom

Born in Richlands, VA. Raised in Lebanon, VA. Went to school in Davidson, NC. Moved to Los Angeles, CA for law school, where he met the love of his life. Currently trying to keep up with Chase and all of their amazing friends in Charlotte, NC!

Madison Yeakel (Pook)

Maid of Honor

How do you sum up 28 years of life with your person? At a high level - they are sisters, 21 months apart, who grew up like most siblings... never getting along. Of course, the love is always there. But man, where was the love when one stole the other's Watermelon Lip Smacker? No matter the mood, I can always count on Madison to cheer me up. She's the beaming ray of gorgeous sunshine that everyone needs a glimpse of. To know her is to love her, and man... I can't imagine life without her! You know those deep (like really deep, in the pit of your gut) belly laughs that only get worse when someone equally as giddy is staring you in the face, eyes full of tears, laughing so hard that the room is silent? Most of my favorite memories with Madison are full of those moments.

Sutton Coleman (Suttie)

Best Man

Sutton is Rich's first cousin, but they're more like brothers. They grew up together in Lebanon, VA and shared cribs, homework, the football field and everything in between. You couldn't find one without the other for most of their lives, and you'll find them together on wedding day - front and center at the end of the aisle! Fun Fact: Rich ran hurdles for the high school track team because there was usually no one else available to run. Sutton went on to become a 7-time NCAA All American at... the hurdles! Rich's best finish was 7th... out of 8.

Lynsey Kehrli (Linny)

Bridesister

Lynsey (Linny) is my older sister. She's the life of the party, equal parts thoughtful & wildly sassy, and everything you need in a big sister! From the playground in Kindergarten, (Linny in 8th grade), to being my post-college landlord, she always has my back. If I had to pick one sister to bail me out of jail, I would pick Linny, which is exactly why she's dancing alongside me for the biggest, most important day of my life. Fun fact: if you're having a hard time finding Lynsey at the party, chances are she's taken cover under the dining table to sleep. Maybe I should pick a different sister to bail me out....

Patrick Hunt (P-Hunt)

Groomsman

Patrick was Rich's roommate all through college. They met on the first day of their football recruiting visit to Davidson and were inseparable for most of their time on campus. While in school, they learned many life lessons together - Patrick taught Rich about the importance of getting a tan and doing sit-ups, and Rich attempted to teach Patrick how to occasionally clean his room. Fun Fact: Rich and Pat were the frontmen of the Ladies' Night dancing group that won back-to-back-to-back championships from 2010-2012. Rumor has it that no one has scored perfect 10's since they graduated.

Lauren Knox (Loanie)

Bridesister

Lauren, aka, Loanie, is my oldest sister, whom I have idolized most of my life. Once upon a time, you could find Loanie airplaning me on the living room floor of our house. Lauren, age 16. Me, age 5. You would also find me, in all of my bossiness (what, you're surprised?), demanding that Loanie "go updairs and do da homework RIGHT NOW" when she got home from school. Fast forward about 15 years, I followed in her paw-prints and continued the house-divided trend that she had started a few years prior. Go Cougs! Although there are a few (okay, several) years between us, we are closer than ever, and I can't imagine saying I DO without Loan. Fun fact: I stole Loanie's boyfriend when she was 16. His name was Connor. Con Con was my boytoy.

Colin Wint (Wint)

Groomsman

Colin and Rich are essentially the same person. Their passion for pizza brought them together, and their appreciation for the finer things in life (e.g., wings, horsepower, deeply discounted light beer, overpriced craft beer, etc.) created a bond that will last a lifetime. All kidding aside, Colin is genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and Rich is honored to have him protecting his blindside on the big day. Fun Fact: Colin and Rich are unbeatable at cornhole. Please note that the title of this segment is ”Fun Fact" and not “Fun Challenge" - if you come at the kings, you best not miss.

Lena Busscher

Bridesmaid

My new sister! For those of you who don't know Lena, she is Rich's older sister - one of the many strong women in the Lockridge family who had a huge part in raising the amazing man I soon get to call my husband. I know I can always count on Lena to talk sense into Rich, or give him the extra little shove of confidence when he's teetering on the fence of an important decision. Fun fact: Lena is a highly esteemed Assistant US district attorney. She helps put the bad guys away. Keeping Virginia safe since 2018.

Bryce Robinson (Bruce)

Groomsman

Bryce was one of Rich's roommates during their senior year at Davidson, which makes him a distinguished member of the (in)famous apartment #F302. Bryce played lacrosse in college, which is a spring sport, so he was unanimously appointed to plan just about every fall social activity during football season. Unfortunately, Bryce chose a career in medicine over full time party planning, but the guys all know where his true talents lie. Fun Fact: Bryce is from New York, and he'll be sure to tell you that when you meet him.

MC Luersen (Hammer)

Bridesmaid

Hammer. Hammy Lammy. Doing life together since the St. Francis days, circa 1998. After moving to Bend mere months apart, we were quickly attached at the hip. There were basketball tournaments, leg wrestling matches (don't ask, I lose every time), the famous "who's feet are bigger" argument, Hammer teasing me for my irrational fear of porta-potty's, pretending to be adults in our Santa Monica apartment.. and everything in between. We'll always remember 2019 as OUR year - when we both married our sweeties! Luckily we never had the same taste in men, so, nothing to fight about there. Fun fact: her feet are, in fact, significantly bigger than mine. But, she can probably still whoop my bum in a leg wrestle. She'll probably whoop yours, too. Do I hear a challenge?

Gianni Ricci (G)

Groomsman

Gianni (aka G, aka Big G, aka Dr. G, aka Five-Eight) and Rich were teammates and roommates at Davidson. They both played middle linebacker, both are die-hard Steelers fans, and both have an affinity for red meat - yeah, they’re cut from the same cloth. Any linebacker will tell you that every Mike needs a Dime. Rich needs Gianni, and he’s honored to have him standing up front on the big day. Well, standing in a good, athletic position. Always check your body posture. Fun Fact: Gianni once put on a 5 minute powerlifting clinic in the middle of a party. Ya heard about it, and if there’s a spare broom around the dance floor, you just might get to know about it.

Whitney Garner (Whit)

Bridesmaid

Once upon a time, there were two toddlers whose mommy's met in the lobby of Miss Emily's dance studio, and the rest is history! Some of my most pivotal moments in life would have been nearly impossible to overcome without Whit. We have been through just about everything you can imagine. From ballet class at age two, to learning to drive at 16, to late night phone calls during college, and now contemplating the deeper meaning of life together, she knows me to my core. Coming up on year 28 of friendship, people. That's a big deal! For those of you who are lucky enough to know Whitney, you know she's loyal, compassionate and hysterical. For those of you who don't, do yourself a favor, get to know her. She holds the keys to most of my deepest, darkest, (funniest) secrets.

Jason Perillo (Perillo)

Groomsman

Jason was Rich's teammate at Davidson. Although he is only two years older than the rest of the crew, Jason has been looking out for (read: taking care of) the majority of the groomsmen since the day they first arrived on campus. Jason has always been there for the boys, and they hope he always will be. After all, they wouldn't be nearly as cool without him. Fun Fact: Until Jason passed the torch to Colin, Jason was the resident DJ for all of the good parties at Davidson. Try substituting "Jasonnnn Perilloooo" at the beginning of every Jason Derulo song. Sorry, you will never unhear that one.

Courtney Soleta (Court)

Bridesmaid

Court and I met in college at Washington State (Go Cougs!). It was the first week of freshman year, in Theater 101. We sat next to each other in the auditorium and quickly realized neither of us had a future in acting. We lived in the same dorm that year, where we often shared a twin bed. Inseparable, unofficial roommates. Maybe it was the fact that we were stranded in the Palouse together and had no choice but to love each other, but Court made my college experience infinitely more fun. And funny. Fun fact: we used to sit on the couch, holding hands, watching TV (Law & Order SVU, or the Grinch).. on silent. I wish I could share all of our favorite college memories, but most of them don't belong on a wedding website.

Evan Markiles (Ev)

Groomsman

Evan and Rich were roommates during law school, which means the wedding is approaching a dangerous attorney-to-fun ratio. When they weren't hitting the books, Evan taught Rich everything he knows about Los Angeles - where to eat, when to drive, that's not smog it's the marine layer, etc. Look for the tallest groomsman - that's Evan, that's Rich's guy. Fun Fact: Evan and Rich credit themselves for saving the L.A. Kings season in 2014. Down 0-3 in the first round of the playoffs, the boys got rowdy at Staples Center and inspired a historical comeback that led the Kings all the way to the Stanley Cup. The guys are still waiting for their rings.

Finley Funsten (FinFun)

Bridesmaid

Also known as - @bacon.and.squats. I remember hearing about Finley before Rich and I moved to Charlotte, thinking - there's no way she's that cool. And fit. And just an all around awesome human who loves to shove brownies and cookies in her face. Well folks, believe it. That's why she's standing up next to me on the biggest day of my life! Fast friends.. You know, the kind you can just sit in silence with, or laugh your ass off with, or cry with because you know she gets it and she cried about it yesterday, too? That's Fin. Part 1 of the Funsten party. She made the move to Charlotte much more bearable for me. From including me in happy hours to kicking my butt in the gym, FinFun is a life-long staple. Fun fact: well, not a fact. Just ask her to bark for you. You won't regret it.

Peter Kidwell (Pete)

Groomsman

Pete and Rich were teammates at Davidson. Before Super Bowl XL, one of Rich’s favorite Steelers players asked the media who they would choose to walk with them down a dark alley. Rich wants Pete. He wants him in the alley and he wants him at the end of the aisle. So if you cause any trouble, you’ll have to answer to Pete. Fun Fact: Pete is famous for giving the most passionate, unexpected, and potentially life threatening pre-game speech in NCAA football history, and he has the scar to prove it.

Carson Kidwell (Cars)

Bridesmaid

Carson and I became overnight friends when I moved to Charlotte. We're kindred spirits. And not just because we have blonde hair, blue/green eyes, and are basically married to the same man (cue, Peter Kidwell - hi honey).. Cars always just feels like a warm hug. You know, the kind you need when you miss your family and just need someone to listen to you and hold you? Cars is my girl. She makes up about 1/6 of the reason I love living in Charlotte.

Chase Culbertson (other Chase)

Groomsman

Chase and Rich were teammates at Davidson, and he was the only Chase in Rich’s life... until he wasn’t. Many people say Rich has upgraded Chases, but Chase 1.0 maintains that it is important to remember who was there in the beginning. Chase (male) is at the center of most of Rich’s favorite college memories, so Rich couldn’t get married without having him in the middle of the action. Well, sort of. Chase (bride) is clearly the center of the action/attention. This Chase is stage left. Fun Fact: Chase has 9.5 fingers. Ask Pete why.

Ben Prater (Prater; Athlete)

Usher

Ben and Rich played linebacker together at Davidson. Ben was Rich’s “little brother” in their fraternity, but there is no question that each of them spent the same amount of time looking out for the other. Ben is definitely the outdoorsman of the group, so if the guys encounter any obstacles at the ranch (e.g., lack of air conditioning), he’ll know how to handle things. Fun Fact: When football rosters were initially released at the beginning of Ben’s freshman year, he was not listed as “LB” for “linebacker,” but instead he was designated as “ATH” for “athlete.” Gianni and Rich pounced at the opportunity to chirp Ben about his unique position for weeks (years?), but Ben gets the last laugh - he’s more athletic than both of them combined.

Lanny Funsten (Larry)

Usher

Lanny and Rich were teammates at Davidson. Lanny is an incredibly positive and energetic person, which comes in very handy when it’s time to convince some of the guys to leave the house for a beer, a pickup game, a concert, etc. He’s the glue that holds the Charlotte crew together, and they’re lucky to have him pulling everyone (and their social calendars) in the same direction. Fun Fact: On wedding day, there is a high chance you will find Lanny sweating the second half over/under of a football game between two teams that you’ve probably never heard of. He’s about that action.
