Officiant
Pascasie and Korie met in 2018 as freshman roommates, and it felt like fate. Both moved to Iowa knowing no one and instantly found their best friend. From rushing a sorority to drinking way too much at frat parties, they did it all together. Korie is one of the kindest people you could ever meet and is a huge reason Pascasie and Chase made it through that first year of long distance. We are very grateful and honored that she is going to help usher us into this next part of our lives.
Officiant
PJ Howk is Chases' oldest and best friend. They first met when they were 5 years old at wrestling practice. They spent the following years, playing video games way too late into the night, doing things that they certainly should not have, and wasting time at wrestling tournaments. Now that they don't live so close anymore, they are usually hanging out on Discord and still playing games way too late into the night. Chase is excited and grateful to have PJ as his Bestman and Officiant for his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Pascasie met in the summer of 2017 at a mutual friend's 4th of July party, instantly clicking and spending the entire night together. The rest of the summer was no different—they were inseparable, whether it was laying on Rebecca's bedroom floor watching Reign or taking weekend trips to KU. The fun and bond they shared that summer has never been rivaled. Four years ago, Pascasie had the honor of being Rebecca's Maid of Honor, and now she’s asked Rebecca to be part of her big day.
Groomsman
Aiden is Chase's brother and one of his closest friends. Chase and Aiden grew up together loving football, wrestling, gaming, and fishing. They learned to be competitive with eachother from these hobbies. They drove their mother crazy with in-house WWE matches. Now, Chase and Aiden can usually be found together on a fishing trip, gaming or hanging out at family events. Chase cannot wait to see where Aiden takes the next steps of his life. More so, Chase is very excited to have Aiden as his Groomsman on his special day.
Bridesmaid
Pascasie and Tatum met in 2018 through a mutual friend at a pregame in Pascasie’s dorm. They didn’t become close until their shared passion for social issues on campus brought them together. From political science debates to heated Zoom calls with administrators, Pascasie finally found someone whose energy matched her own. After sharing an apartment and countless late-night TV binges and smoke sessions with Tatum's grandma, they became inseparable. Tatum is the definition of a ride-or-die friend, and Pascasie is thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid.
Groomsmen and Ring Bearers
Elon and Lane are Chase's little brothers. Chase didn’t think he would get another little brother at the age of 18. And he didn’t - he got 2. Chase and Pascasie love taking "the Boys" trick or treating, visiting the circus or exploring the renaissance festival. We are ecstatic to have Lane and Elon be at our wedding AND share our wedding rings with us in our special moment.
Bridesmaid
Chanceuse is Pascasie’s big sister. Their relationship is the most stereotypical sister relationship you could imagine. Chanceuse and Pascasie often fight just as much as they are eachother’s biggest supporters. Whether it was joined birthday parties, hour long car rides to soccer tournaments, or now, phone conversations about anything they’ve seen in pop-culture, they’ve spent a large portion of their lives side by side. Chanceuse taught Pascasie what it means to be steadfast and loyal (often by yelling at her). Pascasie is so happy that Chanceuse will be by her side once again to celebrate one of the biggest days so far.
Bridesmaid
Joye is Pascasie’s eldest sister. With Joye being 5 years older, she definitely had the annoying little sister experience. Pascasie got a confidant and the stability that only a big sister can provide. And honestly, as adults not much has changed. If you ask Joye, Pascasie cries less but is just as annoying. If you ask Pascasie, Joye is still the most calm, level-headed, member of the family. Joye is always there if you need advice, to vent about what’s going on in life, and on very special occasions, to make a wedding dress (Shabani Brand; shameless plug). Pascasie is so grateful to have her big sister experience this day with her.
Flower Boys
Sevn and Reazn are Pascasie’s older nephews. Pascasie was there for Sevn’s first moments of life and with them living in New York has mostly spent time with them via FaceTime. Pascasie is overjoyed that they will not only be in attendance but are able to be apart of this day.
Vow Bearers
Seyah and Solomon are Pascasie’s younger nephews. Pascasie was there for the birth of Seyah and held Solomon within hours of them being born. Pascasie will have the privilege of watching them grow up. She is so happy that she’ll be able to show them photos of this day when they grow up.
