Please look for the RSVP tab on our website and answer all questions. If someone you know is unable to access the website, please reach out to Chase or Leslie.
Fargo/Moorhead is a busy place! We were able to secure blocks of rooms at three hotels, but we can only reserve the blocks through August 1. So, if you'd like to book a room within a block (a locked-in rate), please do so by August 1. There are PLENTY of other hotels in the area, so please look around for the perfect hotel for you. See our Travel page for more information.
We want you to be comfortable, so we are terming our dress code "Tastefully Casual". Casual dresses, pants, khakis, nice jeans, shorts, and shirts are all welcome. Keep in mind the ceremony, cocktail hour, and s'more bar will be held outdoors. It will be September, and weather is unpredictable, so we encourage you to watch the weather for Glyndon, MN and dress appropriately. The venue is along the river and sometimes the ground is a bit soft, so stilettos might not work the best!
Please see the Schedule page for more details. In general, the ceremony will begin at 16:30 (4:30 p.m.), so if you're there by 16:15 (4:15 p.m.) to find a seat, that should be great! We will have a casual cocktail hour with yard games between the ceremony and dinner, so if you cannot make it to the ceremony, join us anytime before 18:00 (6:00 p.m.) to find your seat and get ready for dinner. If you can't stay until the last song, we understand!
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sufficient transportation for everyone. We recommend carpooling, using Uber or Lyft, taking a taxi, or visiting with your hotel about the possibility of a shuttle (some hotels do provide transportation outside of Moorhead for a fee).
There is decent space for parking at the venue. If possible, we recommend car pooling, taking Uber/Lyft, or taking a cab. Any vehicles left overnight should be picked up by 8 a.m. the next day to allow space for any Sunday events scheduled.
We get wet! :) In the case of light rain, the ceremony will go on! We will have a limited number of umbrellas for use, but if it looks like rain, you might want to bring one of your own. In the case of severe rain or lightning, we will move the ceremony and some yard games inside. The dinner and dance are indoors.
YES! Look for coloring sheets and scavenger hunt sheets for the kiddos. There will also be a s'more bar.
We will have a limited supply of complimentary beverages (beer and wine), and the bar will also sell beer, wine, and some liquor. The bar accepts cash and major credit/debit cards. Water is always free!
Unfortunately, there is not an ATM. If you need cash, please plan ahead. The bar does accept debit/credit cards. Uber, Lyft, and most taxis accept cards as well.
We are! We have a registry at Target. We would also greatly appreciate gift cards to Target, Lowe's and Wayfair or a contribution to our Honeymoon Fund or Acme Tool Fund. We promise to update you on what we use those gift cards or funds for! :) Please see the registry page for more info.
No. While we appreciate these traditional aspects of some weddings, we will not be including them! Instead of a receiving line, we will mingle with you during cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance. We want to dance to as many songs as we can, so there will be no dollar dance, tosses, or other games. As for the cake cutting? We are having donuts! No official donut cutting....help yourself when you want a donut!
We respectfully ask that you don't. While some couples might think this is fun, we would prefer not to interrupt everyone's dinner with clinking and kissing. If you are caught clinking glasses, our DJ will have something embarrassing for you to do! :)
Since we love everything from rap to 70's music, we went with a DJ.
Of course! #ForeverFennell If you post to any social media site, please use our hashtag so we can easily find your photos. While we encourage pictures and posting, we do still want you to be present. So, instead of checking facebook, come play Jenga! :)
