Maid of Honor
She is my sister and she is my friend. I am convinced that Claire bear and I are so close because we shared a bunk bed growing up. Claire has grown to be someone that I admire for her sweet nature and her trust in the Lord. You can typically find Claire listening to her record player or playing pranks on someone. She is all things fun and hip.
Best Man
Nate and I met freshman year at orientation at Wheaton College, as incoming freshman basketball roommates. Nate and I instantly bonded over countless hours getting shots up in the gym, racing to Chipotle before it closed at 10pm, and the infamous "sup girls" comment of September 2009.
Maid of Honor
At 8 years old, my whole world changed because I was getting another little sister! Gracie is bright and witty. She has the humor of a 20 year old and outwits me often. You can typically find Gracie kicking around a soccer ball or making fun of Claire. This one is so so special to me.
Groomsman
Kyle is my cousin. He will incessantly make fun of me if I put anything nice on here. So this is it.
Bridesmaid
Kris is my best friend from high school. We stuck together during our most ridiculous phases, hello all of middle and high school, and she is one of my favorite people to hang out with. Kristen and I haven't lived in the same city since high school, but I have loved to look forward to seeing her both in Norman and now in Atlanta. Kristen is a gifted singer, student, wife, and the most devoted friend.
Groomsman
Phil is also my cousin. He will also incessantly make fun of me if I put anything nice on here. So this is it.
Bridesmaid
Miranda is about to be my third sister. I was so lucky to get to know her at camp this past summer at Kanakuk; we got to share a bunk bed and I got to experience her graceful skiing. Miranda is bright and thoughtful. She has killer calligraphy skills. I can't wait to know her forever!
Groomsman
Jason and I met at Kanakuk Kamps (K7) in the summer of 2011, when we were both counselors together. He was always very jealous of how much more I can lift than him, but eventually he got over it. Our friendship revolved around me beating him in many video games including: NCAA Football, NBA JAM, NHL 2014, among others.
Bridesmaid
Tay and I met my first summer at Kanakuk Kamps; we were co-counselors in teepee 5. I lived with Tay in Fort Worth this past Spring, and rowdiness ensued. Taylor brings out a goofy side of me that is rarely seen. She is driven, she is creative, and she is full of life. Everyone loves to be around Taylor and I am so blessed to call her a part of my home team.
Groomsman
Blaine and I met in middle school, but I wasn't cool enough to be his friend until high school. My best moments with Blaine include getting hours and hours of shots and reps up in the gym, building sparkler bombs, and seeing him grow into the role of a father. The days of attaching a book light to the ceiling fan and seeing who it would hit in the face feels like yesterday.
Bridesmaid
Em and I met in literature classes in college. We endured many rough Shakespeare classes together, and spent almost every waking minute together our senior year. We share a love for Jesus and a desire to know the Lord better. Emma is wise and has been my sounding board many times. I am happy to have her.
Groomsman
Spence and I met in the fall of 2010, as part of Wheaton basketball. Spence and I spent many a practice balling out on blue squad. Spence is an incredibly talented dude (in literally everything), but, more importantly, is a loyal friend, who has had my back always. Also, thanks to Spencer, I will always remember to wear my seatbelt in the back seat in the state of Illinois (ask him for the rest of the story).
Bridesmaid
Sarah is one of my besties from college; I met her when we became co-chairs in planning a benefit concert on campus. We have had innumerable pizza dates, late night Harry Potter marathons, and sleepovers. Sar is wise, wise, wise. She is also silly. I love this girl like a sister.
Groomsman
Brayden and I met in the fall of 2012, as part of Wheaton Basketball. Brayden was a transfer from so no-name school in Missouri, so, of course, as I do with all transfers, I hated him. Fortunately, Brayden is as real of a dude as it gets and we bonded quickly, because Ball is Life. Brayden and I continue to bond over NBA basketball and a good day of chest at the gym.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my cousin!! My first memory of Lauren is hating her when I was 8 because she was so pretty.. Lauren is the life of the party and does the best impressions (seriously SNL material). She has been a constant place of support in my life.
Groomsman
Riley and I met in Fall 2012, as part of Wheaton basketball. As a senior, I immediately took Riley under my wing, because I can recognize ballers easily. Talking to girls, hitting a three with a defender in his face, and making fun of Brayden, constantly -- I taught him everything. We continue to bond over not taking life too seriously and making fun of Brayden.
Bridesmaid
Jenny is pure sunshine. We grew up thinking that we were cousins, because our moms are best friends; seeing Jenny on the holidays was always a highlight of the year. We became buddies again my first summer at Kanakuk. She is the gentlest member of my home team and our coffee dates are the sweetest and most refreshing.
Groomsman
Pete and I met the fall of 2011, as part of Wheaton Basketball. Pete and I spent plenty of a night, straight chilling, watching whatever game is on ESPN. Pete is the chillest dude and there's no one I'd rather catch a sporting event with. Since college, Pete and I have made a few epic sports trips and look forward to making some more.
Bridesmaid
I met Anneka on a mission trip in Uganda. We became instant friends and have visited back and forth from the Mid-West to the West coast over the last few years. Anneka is my California girl. She makes people feel known and I love having her as a part of my home team.
