Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We're excited to share our special day with you on Saturday 8/3/2024 at the beautiful Balistreri Vineyards located at 1946 E 66th Ave, Denver, CO 80201. More details of the day can be found on the "Events Information" section of our website.

Question

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 6:00 PM sharp. To ensure you have ample time to settle in, we recommend arriving between 5:30 PM-5:45 PM. More details of the day can be found on the "Events Information" section of our website.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift. We are fortunate to have more than we need, so we won't be having a traditional wedding registry. Instead, if you would like to make a contribution, we would be immensely grateful for cash gifts. Your generosity will help us save for something we truly need and cherish as we start this journey together.

Question

Are there nearby accommodations for out of town guests?

Answer

We have proactively reserved room blocks for our wedding weekend at The VIB Hotel. For convenient booking at a discounted rate, please visit the "Travel" section of our website. Guests will have until 7/2 to book through these room blocks. Guests are also welcome to book accommodations at any hotel of their choice or through platforms like Airbnb or VRBO. However, we kindly request that you consider the location of your chosen accommodation in relation to the venue.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the hotels to the venue and back?

Answer

At this time, formal transportation arrangements will not be provided. However, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the RiNo area. Travel between either hotel and the venue is just a short 10-minute car ride.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is ample free parking at the venue, and overnight parking is permitted. If you don't have a designated driver, you're welcome to leave your vehicle overnight, and pick it up the next day!

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We invite you to embrace the charm of an outdoor ceremony in semi-formal attire that strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and the relaxed elegance of a garden party. For Ladies: We recommend dresses in tea-length or floor-length styles, featuring colorful floral prints. However, solid colors also make for a stunning choice. For Gentlemen: We'd recommend suits or semi-formal attire in lighter hues.

Question

Answer

We kindly ask that you savor the moment without the distractions of photography. We've hired a talented photographer to capture all the special moments and promise to share those photos with you.

Question

What are the typical weather conditions in Denver during early August?

Answer

During early August, you can anticipate daytime temperatures in the range of 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Evenings tend to be cooler, with temperatures dropping into the 60s and 70s degrees Fahrenheit. Denver does occasionally experience heatwaves during the summer months, including early August. However, the dry climate helps to keep extreme heat at bay, and it's typically not as oppressive as in more humid regions.

Question

What should I do if I get altitude sickness in Denver?

Answer

Experiencing altitude sickness in Denver can be uncomfortable, but there are steps you can take to alleviate the symptoms and help your body acclimatize: Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay well-hydrated. Dehydration can worsen altitude sickness symptoms. Rest: Give your body time to adjust. Rest and avoid strenuous activities. Over-the-Counter Medications: You can consider over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen to alleviate headaches and acetazolamide (under a doctor's guidance) to help with acclimatization. Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: These substances can contribute to dehydration, so it's best to limit or avoid them. Ginger or Herbal Tea: Some people find that ginger or herbal teas help with nausea associated with altitude sickness.
