Chase and her friend at the time - both were on their way home from an Anime Expo and they both decided to swing by a lonely-looking smoke shop around 8:00 pm - It was a normal - every day Tuesday. Eric was working that night - at said lonely-looking smoke shop. Chase and her friend are indeed vapors and were looking at disposable vapes - Eric was simply doing his job - not knowing he'd be talking to his future wife nonchalantly held a conversation with Chase and her friend about vapes (he's working obviously) and suggests a different brand of vape to Chase (not knowing who was Chase at the time) and Chase low and behold tried the vape - but still had a lot of skepticism about the vape. Eric then told Chase and her friend if they had any questions or concerns about their newly purchased vapes to come back and see him or simply call or text. (As he writes his number down on a receipt paper.) ~ Yes, boys it actually worked. HOOSAHHHH ~ Roughly 30 minutes go by and I (Eric) started to lock up the store - and low and behold - my phone dings - it's a message from Chase. We started talking via texting - which went on till many hours passed till one had to go to bed for work in the morning. From then - each day the two; Eric and Chase, continue texting throughout the days via texting from Dawn to Dusk ~ Sounds backwards - but think about it mmkay ~ Anyways - Friday rolls around - Eric sends a text to Chase saying Good morning (But no reply was to come.) Eric just assuming she's busy waits a few hours - sends another text (But yet again no reply was to come) Eric starts to wonder - well this is odd - Ghosting I suppose. Eric then talks to his friends about this girl Chase - and she gets deemed the nickname "Casper" - you know... SHE GHOSTED ME! Monday rolls along - and low and behold - Eric wakes up to a text from Chase - basically saying sorry - I went to a concert with my friend and 'broke' my phone. - Eric - Who at this time is just like: "Okay, Whatever - all is good." Yet the conversation never died - we talked all of that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and even partially Friday (till 4 pm) Then... SHE GHOSTED ME AGAIN!!! Eric panics and goes back to his friends, family anyone to listen to for any type of advice. Yet at this point Eric is using her name Chase - but his friends keep reminding him - you mean "Casper" - She's just toying with you - yet Eric's sister (Lindsey) did mention - just be upfront and ask her out on a date - the worse thing that could happen is no reply or she says no. ~ Thanks Lindsey for the Positive outlook on this. ~ Anyways After the second weekend of "Halloween" (Casper striking my mind every couple of hours) I text her Monday - ask to call and verbally ask her out on a date. We then decide to meet up at Town Square - and we both awkwardly walk around like a bunch of two people who barely know how to talk to another person - it was fabulously awkward - imagine the air - you could cut it with a knife. Yet once we both got to our homes - we still manage to be talking - conversation apart is so easy - but face to face was difficult. Another week goes by - and Eric kept wondering when the next time we could hang out or go on a second date. (So he asked Chase just that) Chase and her friend later in the week came by and we all hung out - and Chase and Eric just kept getting closer and closer together. A few more weeks go by and Chase and Eric sit down with Chase's mother at dinner - and explain our situation as we are planning to move in together as we are both rather crazy comfortable with each other and are wanting to pursue this relationship to further lengths - and here we are today - as you read this on our Wedding Website.
