Anna Berlinger

Bride

Chase Ketterling

Groom

Lindsey Wetle

Maid of Honor

The day I met Lindsey in a mutual friend's bible study, I remember thinking: "Man, who is that girl who's so on fire for the Eucharist!" We stayed friends all through college and roomed for two years together - and came out on the other side alive (not bad for a melancholic and choleric!) Lindsey, you're a powerful woman of God. You've stood by me through the joys and some of the darkest nights, and I am blessed to have you by my side today.

Alex Whiteman

Best Man

When we first met in Calc 3, Alex thought I was the dumbest guy in the class. We slowly discovered we had a lot of shared interests in music and hobbies and ended up working together on numerous projects. What really solidified our friendship was the two weeks after finals sophomore year when we were working together in the shop for 16 hours a day, living on rock and roll and left over potato salad before the Baja SAE event in Kansas. Many classes and adventures later, we both graduated and moved to the midwest - still not agreeing on whether trucks or dirt bikes were the better off-road vehicle or if skis were better than snowboards. Alex has always been there to lend a hand when I've needed him.

Marie Nitz

Bridesmaid - Sister of the Bride

Being your sister for 26 years has been one of the greatest blessings God could ever give - even when you were waking me up way too early on a Saturday morning to go play. Your endless energy when we were younger always balanced out my more introverted book-worm self. Being by your side at your wedding was a highlight and I am so happy you get to stand by me today. I love you so much, sis!

Trace Ketterling

Groomsman - Brother of the Groom

My only brother and the odd ball musician in a family of engineers, he provides a lot of comic relief when everyone else gets too serious. He's got a memory like an elephant and will never let you forget the embarrassing things you don't even remember doing as a kid. Though it seems like he never sleeps with his crazy schedule, he always makes time when you need to talk.

Kayla Ketterling

Bridesmaid

When Chase told me he had a sister, it took quite a while for me to erase from my brain the stunt he played on me: "Yeah, my brother's name is Trace, and my sister is Grace." All kidding aside, from the moment I met you, I knew you were a powerful force to be reckoned with - watching you make sausage for our Thanksgiving breakfast out of the elk meat that you killed yourself! Dang, girl. Thank you for standing by me and most importantly, thank you for welcoming me into your family. I'm so excited to gain another sister!

Mike Bardell

Groomsman

Though we'd worked together in the same building for several years, we actually finally met at autocross racing school and discovered we were the same kind of crazy. Through racing and Gambler 500 rallies, we ended up spending a lot of time together and becoming friends. Mike is a clever and quiet man that's always willing to help when you need it.

Antonia Rupert

Bridesmaid

"HEYY, what's up!" It's crazy that I can't even remember a time when you and Natasha weren't in our lives - since basically 4 years old. It has been truly amazing to grow up alongside you and witness the woman you have become. I am so inspired always by your spirit and inner strength - and I LOVE the blonde wild child in you too! Thanks for your straightforward and honest friendship! Keep shining, Antonia!

Joseph Golik

Groomsman

We met freshman year of college through Baja SAE and the Newman Center lived together sophomore year before Joe switched to seminary. During that time, we had a lot of off road and snowy adventures that I'm grateful to have been a passenger and instigator on, usually at the expense of Joe's poor old truck. Joe always had a quiet confidence and was always ready to dive into deep conversations. Even when it's been months since we've talked, Joe always has the wisdom to speak great advice into whatever the current situation.

Lyndsay Brooks

Bridesmaid

We met at a Bible study she and her husband, Blake, hosted some years ago, and I remember being inspired by her fire for evangelization. Lyndsay, your holiness struck me from that first moment in your front living room and even more so with the passing years. I have enjoyed walking by your side through the difficult and the beautiful. You are such a witness and a solid rock of faith! God bless you, and your lovely family!

Leo Huber

Groomsman

Leo was head of the Newman Club and a member of the Baja SAE team in college. We spent many hours working together in college and exploring the Black Hills and he was always kind enough to offer his house as a place for me to stay while the dorms were closed for breaks. He's always had a humble, can do attitude. Leo is great at not taking life too seriously and staying grounded to what's important.

Kristen Ottesen

Bridesmaid

From college acquaintances to horse back riding together - our friendship over the past five years has seen it all. Kristen's strength of character, needed to be a 911 dispatcher, means she is exactly the kind of person you want in your corner. Kristen, we make each other stronger! I don't know if I would have had the strength to go out on my first date with Chase if you hadn't encouraged me to trust what God was doing in my life. Thanks for always being there.

Cody Webster

Groomsman

Cody joined Caterpillar 6 months after me and has been my office neighbor for several years and actual house neighbor for a year and a half now. We share a dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Whether it's hospital trips or home improvement projects, you know you can count on Cody to come through and help out, just expect some good humored complaining along the way.

Natasha Doran

Honorary Bridesmaid

Tasha, 24 years has gone by so fast! I still think back fondly on secret meetings in closets with flashlights, pouring over "ancient" texts, trying to master Tolkien's elvish language as Highschool nerds. I can't imagine anyone else I would rather call and talk to for hours on end about historic sewing techniques with lovely little humans running around in the background. You are a talented and blessed friend, Natasha! I am so sorry you can't be with us and that traveling made it impossible, but you are with us in spirit and your prayers are surely felt. Were it not for your virtual guidance as a professional seamstress, my wedding dress today would never have been finished. THANK YOU!
