Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, the dress code is black-tie attire and we would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Although it is called "black-tie" this does not mean you must dress in all black or dark colors, in fact we encourage our guests to incorporate spring-time pastel colors into their attire for the evening. For ladies this means floor length gowns are required. Wear any color you wish, but know you are not submitted to a dark color just because it is a formal event. Have fun with what you choose and enjoy showing your personality through what you wear. For men this means a tuxedo is required. While there is limited customization with tuxedos feel free to bring personality to your outfit with fun socks, cummerbunds, or your bowtie. We can't wait to capture everlasting moments with each of you in your fabulous outfits. Can I bring a date?
Answer
We would like to keep our day as intimate as possible. Therefore we respectfully request our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although we love your kids, we have chosen to make our special day adults only to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry. We thank you for your understanding.

What day should I arrive?
Answer
Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, the choice is yours! We have planned an entire weekend of fun for our guests. See the "schedule" & "things to do" tabs for all we have planned and the amenities offered at the resort.

Will there be parking/transportation?
Answer
The beauty of Berry Hill Resort is once you're there everything you will need is on site, so no transportation. There will be ample parking with signs on site directing guests where to park. All of our wedding events and your lodging will be at Berry Hill Resort so no transportation will be necessary to and from wedding events.

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
Lynchburg Regional Airport: 54 miles (1 hour and 15 minute drive) Raleigh Durham International Airport: 73 miles (1 hour and 30 minute drive) Richmond International: 135 miles (2 hours and 15 minute drive) Please let us know if you plan on flying into one of the above airports so we can coordinate transportation for all our guests flying in for our big day!

Do I have to stay at Berry Hill Resort?
Answer
No not at all. If you live close enough to drive home or want to choose another hotel close by feel free. However, our hotel block will only be at Berry Hill Resort. Additionally, keep in mind there are no ubers or lyfts in South Boston, VA so if you do decide to drive home or to another hotel please ensure you have a designated driver lined up.
