Getting to the Area For guests traveling from North America, the most affordable and practical option is to fly into a major international hub, most commonly Rome (FCO), but also Milan (MXP/LIN), Florence (FLR), Bologna (BLQ), Paris (CDG), Munich (MUC), or Dublin (DUB). From there, you can continue on by train, a short regional flight, or rental car. Rome and Milan generally offer the widest nonstop options and best fares. Regional Airports in Italy that bring you closer to the venue: Perugia (PEG): ~1.5 hours away Bologna (BLQ): 2.5–3 hours, with excellent European connections Florence (FLR): ~3 hours Rome (FCO & CIA): 3.5–4 hours Milan (MXP/LIN): 4.5–5 hours, with frequent trains south Ancona (AOI): ~1 hour away The closest option is Ancona Falconara (AOI), about 1 hour by car. While convenient, flights into Ancona from North America are usually much more expensive and limited, so we don’t recommend it as your first choice unless the connections and price line up. No matter which route you choose, you can rent a car for flexibility or connect by train + taxi to reach Macerata and Le Case.

Italy’s Trenitalia network makes it easy: From Ancona → direct regional trains run to Macerata (about 1–1.5 hr). From Bologna → high-speed train (Frecciarossa/Frecciargento) to Ancona (~2 hr), then regional train to Macerata (~1 hr). From Florence → high-speed train to Ancona (~3 hr), then regional train to Macerata. From Rome Termini → direct train to Ancona (~3.5 hr), then regional to Macerata. 🚉 Nearest stations to Le Case: Macerata or Tolentino. From there, a short taxi ride (20 min) will bring guests to the venue. From Ancona, it’s roughly 1 hour by car to Le Case. If you prefer to travel by train, the regional line from Ancona to Macerata takes about 1 hour, followed by a 20-minute taxi ride to your hotel or Le Case. For reference, we paid around €80 for a taxi from Le Case to Ancona.

Getting Around
Car rental recommended if you’d like to explore the Marche region, visit charming hill towns, or spend time at the Adriatic beaches (~30 min.)! Without a car, taxis are available but can be limited. Expect to pre-book for local travel.
