This was the question that got it all started. Believe it or not, Ashley was the one who asked it. After matching on Hinge, we decided to find a brewery where we could meet up for the first time in-person. Thankfully, our profile pictures both accurately represented the two people who showed up that day and we sat down at a bench outside of Dovetail Brewery. Between intermittent pauses in conversation as the Brown Line trains roared past, we found out that we had so much in common. This included having the same hometown, having been involved in some of the same after-school and summer programs, and having similar tastes in music. We can't prove it, but there's a good chance that we had crossed paths at some point! After countless dates, memorable trips both domestic and abroad, and some incredible concerts, we were engaged on June 15th, 2024 in Ashley's favorite place (Galena, IL). We are so lucky to have found each other, but we also realize how amazing it is to have such supportive friends and family throughout our relationship. We can't wait to be married, and we are so excited to be able to share this day with you!
