These short term rental apps are the best for booking large groups in Austin. The wedding and a lot of fun places to go out are near downtown on the east side of Interstate Highway 35 but anywhere around downtown Austin is easy to get to.

Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)

For those of you traveling internationally, there are two airlines that fly direct from London Heathrow to Austin. British Airways and Norwegian. Uber, Lyft and RIDE Austin are the various ride share apps we have available here. All of them will pick you up from the airport which is only 10 minutes away from the center of downtown.

Hotels

The venue is located at 301 E 6th Street, in downtown Austin. There are several great local hotels that are very Austin: Hotel San Jose, Hotel Saint Cecilia, Austin Motel, South Congress Hotel - these are located in the popular South Congress Avenue area. There are also standard chain hotels around downtown; JW Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt (where Harriet worked as a Sous Chef in their restaurant Geraldine’s). We would recommend caution with any hotels near the Austin Homeless shelter on 7th and Neches. These include Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Express.
