Last year we got married with a small group of our closest friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony and so perfect during such a strange time in the world. It was everything we could have hoped for! But now we are ready to party with ALL our friends and family! So please join us to celebrate our one year anniversary.

Dear Friends and Family, We have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding celebration this fall – but don’t despair! There are still several wedding activities planned and we would love for you to take part. When COVID-19 first hit the US and got to Texas, we joined the rest of the world by sheltering in place and doing our part to not spread the virus. We hoped it would be a month or so of working from home, but here we are, nearly five months later, and well... things aren’t great. Safety is our number one priority and our dream to have a wedding this October where we can all celebrate, hug, and dance together cannot be guaranteed. With that in mind we have made the difficult decision to postpone the wedding celebration. We will still be married on October 31st, 2020 in a small family ceremony at the Gagen/Hopkins house in Austin which will be live streamed for you all to join in and watch along (stay tuned for a streaming link)! We have moved the date of the celebration to October 30, 2021 in Austin, with the hopes that you will be able to join us then. So, please “Save the Date” for next year, and join us for our virtual ceremony this fall! We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a large community of friends and family in our lives, and we can’t wait to reunite again as a married couple. Stay safe, stay healthy and love each other.
