How to Get to Petaluma
While our wedding venue is located in Tomales we are so excited to base our wedding weekend in Petaluma, in the heart of Wine Country. Petaluma is an hour north of San Francisco International Airport and an hour northwest of Oakland International Airport. There are several ways to get to Petaluma from these airports. Groome Transportation offers shuttles daily from both airports to the Petaluma Fairgrounds. The Petaluma Fairgrounds are located in central Petaluma and it is very easy to catch a taxi or an uber to your hotel. If you would like to book a private airport transfer, Western Eagle Shuttle is a wonderful option. You can also hire an uber or taxi to take you to Petaluma as well from the airport. Once in Petaluma, there are plenty of Ubers and taxis for transportation around town. If you plan on going wine tasting be sure to organize pick ups ahead of time as often times service can be spotty out in the country. If you would like to visit other towns in Wine Country, the SMART Train is the perfect option to travel for the day. Just be sure to check the schedule as the trains run different hours during the week and the weekend. For the wedding in Tomales, we will be providing transportation from Petaluma.
