From the Elephant Seal Overlook, you can witness the fascinating behavior of these animals, including male dominance contests, birthing of pups, and the interactions of mothers and pups. You will hear the distinctive vocalizations of females and pups, as well as the powerful trumpeting of the adult males (referred to as “bulls”), which can be heard for over a mile.

From the comfort and safety of an expedition style sea kayak, participants can watch millions of luminescent plankton glow around their boats and paddles. Night tours also offer the chance to see and hear wildlife not usually seen during the day.

Named one of Travel + Leisure’s best wineries in Sonoma, Rhinefarm Estate has been owned, farmed and operated by our family since 1858. This winery makes approachable, unpretentious wines of outstanding quality. Visit for a wine tasting, vineyard experience or live music to get to know their laid-back Sonoma vibe. Open every day, 11:30am – 5:30pm Mon-Thur and 11am – 5:30pm Fri-Sun for tours and tastings, with the last seating at 4pm. Reservations are encouraged, especially on the weekends. If you prefer to walk-in, we recommend stopping by on a weekday for your best chance for a seated tasting. The property is family and dog friendly. Please, no outside food. They offer an assortment of cheeses and charcuterie.
