Port Gamble is a historic town just ~11 minutes drive from our ceremony site. The town features well-preserved New England-style architecture, shops, restuarants, and a local theater and museum. Be sure to check out the charming Port Gamble General Store & Café and its Sea & Shore Museum upstairs- the second largest, privately-owned shell museum in the world!
Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park offers miles of scenic trails through lush forests and peaceful wetlands, making it a great spot for hiking, biking or a relaxing walk. It’s Tor's favorite local spot for mountain biking, and a beautiful way to experience the natural charm of the Kitsap Peninsula.
Visit our “little Norway.” Poulsbo is ~20 minutes drive south of the ceremony area and features many shops, restaurants, and bars lining the waterfront. It's a lovely place to walk around and enjoy a meal, drinks, or shopping. A couple of the hotel recommendations are in the Poulsbo area as well, if you are looking to turn the wedding into a mini getaway!
