While you’re here, we highly recommend: - Sunset at the Cholla Cactus Garden - Skull Rock: One of the park’s most iconic natural formations. It’s an easy stop and perfect for photos. Just beyond it, you’ll find incredible boulder clusters and hidden pathways that feel like nature’s playground. - Hike the Forty Nine Palms Oasis Trail: A moderately challenging 3-mile round-trip hike that leads you through rolling desert hills to a hidden secret oasis of lush palms. Go early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the heat, and bring plenty of water. - Grabbing a map at the North entrance (about a 10 minute drive from Reset) and going wherever your heart desires

Pappy & Harriet's
For the musically inclined and BBQ lovers: Located in the historic 1940s Western movie-set town of Pioneertown, Pappy & Harriet’s is an iconic desert roadhouse. What started as a local biker bar became one of the most legendary live music venues in the country, hosting both surprise superstar sets and unforgettable intimate shows. Beyond the music, it’s known for incredible comfort food - smoky barbecue, juicy burgers, and hearty plates that hit perfectly after a night under the desert sky. It combines California history, live music, and amazing food all in one unforgettable Mojave stop. If you're going, put your name in and prepare for a bit of a wait. Explore iconic Pioneertown in the meantime.
The Integratron
For the wellness seeker: The Integratron is one of the most fascinating and unique landmarks in the Joshua Tree area - part architectural wonder, part desert legend. The building is made entirely of wood, no nails in the main dome, and engineered for extraordinary acoustics. Its perfectly proportioned, all-wood interior creates a seamless echo effect, allowing sound to travel in a way that feels immersive and almost weightless. Originally built to house a "rejuvenation machine", the Integratron is known for its deeply resonant crystal bowl sound baths. During a session, layered tones fill the dome and vibrate through the body, creating a meditative, calming experience unlike anywhere else. Reservations for this experience book up, so schedule in advance.
Mojave Flea Trading Post
For the vintage lover and fashionista: Mojave Trading Post is a desert gem filled with old-west charm, local vendors, eclectic antiques, and perfectly curated vintage finds. With its rustic textures and laid-back bohemian vibe, it feels like stepping into a sun-faded time capsule of the high desert. This whole block of 29 Palms is filled with antique and vintage stores, including Charlotte’s favorite vintage store - Funky Desert Vintage - found directly across the street from the trading post. Also not to be missed: Luna sourdough's incredible cinnamon buns.
