JFK Airport
NYC has several airports, but JFK is the closest and only a short taxi or Uber (20 minutes) from all hotel and rental places.
Flight
LGA Airport
LaGuardia is further away but still a great option to fly into. It is about 40 minutes from Rockaway.
Train
A and S trains
The train is the quickest and cheapest way to travel in the city. The A train at 67th St can take you all the way to the city. The S Train or Shuttle Train can take you throughout Rockaway from 116th St to 90th St.
Travel Note
NYC Ferry
There is a ferry in Rockaway at Beach 108th St. You can take is all the way into the city and get off at Wall St. The ferry has some great views. Our favorite part is the bar on the ferry that serves beers and hard seltzers.
