Let's get married!

In 2015, it was the start of a beautiful wedding weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida. As Charlotte's older sister prepared to say I do, the best man and maid of honor were concentrating on delegating tasks at hand to ease the events of the rehearsal evening. This is the first time Charlotte and Fernando truly met one another. Seeing as Fernando was completing his residency in New York and Charlotte was living in Florida, after the wedding they continued to talk on the phone and video chat. After a few months, Charlotte flew to New York for their "first date". They continued to stay long distance for the next two years, only with Fernando changing the flight destination to Minneapolis. Charlotte traded in her swimsuits for snow boots and moved to Minneapolis to be with Fernando. The couple would relocate a few more times picking up some paws along the way. On March 12th, 2021, Fernando surprised Charlotte with a quick getaway to one of their favorite cities, Chicago. Next to the Chicago river, Fernando knelt down on one knee and popped the question which received an immediate YES! Finally settled back in Florida, Charlotte and Fernando are ready to share their love story with you as they make the commitment to each other in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on the 5th of November, 2022.
