Our story began in college at UNCC in 2023. Claire, the maid of honor, invited both Sydney and Charlie to meet at the library to study. Charlie and Claire shared classes and had already become friends, and since Sydney and Claire rarely went anywhere without each other, she naturally joined them. What started as casual study sessions in the library quickly turned into spending more and more time together. Before long, library hangouts became time spent outside the library as well. For a few months, Sydney and Charlie always hung out in group settings, never alone. One night after a fun evening out, Sydney found a little liquid courage and decided to break through the “just friends” barrier. Charlie wasted no time asking Sydney on their first official date—not as friends—and from that moment on, they were inseparable.It didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted to build a life together. Over the next two years, we loved deeply, made each other a priority, and became each other’s best friend. Now, we are truly ecstatic to be getting married and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our closest family and friends!
