Let us take you back to February 17th, 2021 — right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. A young nursing student arrived for her placement shift, unaware that this day would change her life forever. She was paired to work with a charming nurse, and from the moment they met, there was an undeniable spark that neither could ignore. A friendship quickly blossomed as they worked side by side over the next four months, sharing laughter, stories, and endless cups of coffee. By July, it was clear something special was growing between them, and on July 24th, 2021, they went on their very first date to Nando’s in Colchester — a day that would mark the beginning of a beautiful love story. Their bond deepened effortlessly. They became inseparable, always planning new adventures and dreaming about the future. In June of 2022, they set off on their first big trip across Scandinavia, where they fell in love with Norway’s beauty and peace, planting a dream to one day call it home. Later that year, on October 6th, 2022, they officially moved in together — into a little flat in Colchester that quickly became their first true home. It was a place filled with warmth, laughter, late-night chats, and countless memories that built the foundation of their life together. Since then, they’ve been on top of seven mountains, stood beneath the magic of the northern lights, and explored nine countries side by side. Life eventually took them to London, where Ioannis began university and Charlie started on the path toward her dream career. Through every challenge and change, they’ve supported one another wholeheartedly, growing stronger with every step. Somewhere along the way, they also “stole” a cat — a mischievous but much-loved addition to their little family. Now, surrounded by love from family and friends across two countries, they’re ready to celebrate their story and begin the next chapter of their lives together — with all of you by their side.
