Directions to the Venue

The venue is located about 2 hours south of San Francisco, 35 minutes from Santa Cruz and about an hour from both Monterey and San Jose. We recommend that you print the following directions and bring these when visiting. WARNING: Highland Way via Summit Road off of Highway 17 is very remote, curvy and takes longer than if you take Highway 1 South from Santa Cruz. Please DO NOT follow your GPS, Google Maps or Map Quest directions that take you to Highland Way via Summit Road. From the North (East Bay, San Jose or San Francisco)... Drive to Santa Cruz and then follow the directions from Santa Cruz: 1. Head south on Highway 1. 2. Take the Freedom Boulevard exit and go left over the freeway. 3. After 5 miles, you will come to a stop sign where you will make a left on Corralitos Road. 4. Follow Corralitos Road for 2 miles. 5. At the four-way stop sign the road becomes Eureka Canyon. 6. Go straight through the stop sign onto Eureka Canyon Road and continue for 6.7 miles. 7. Pema Osel Ling is on the left side, with a big blue and gold sign posted at the entrance. From the South (Monterey): 1. Head north on Highway 1. 2. Take the Airport Boulevard Exit. 3. At the stop light on Airport and Freedom Blvd., turn left and stay left onto Freedom Boulevard, follow it for a couple of miles to the next stop sign. 4. At the stop sign, make a right onto Corralitos Road. 5. Follow Corralitos Road for 2 miles. 6. At the four-way stop sign the road becomes Eureka Canyon. 7. Go straight through the stop sign onto Eureka Canyon Road and continue for 6.7 miles. 8. Pema Osel Ling is on the left side, with a big blue and gold sign posted at the entrance.

Wedding Venue: Amphitheater of the Redwoods (Rules)

Our venue is run by a Tibetan Buddhist non-profit foundation, please be respectful of their space and adhere to the following guidelines: • No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. You may walk out to Eureka Canyon Road and smoke at the designated smoking area. • Please keep driving to a minimum and drive below 5 mph when you are on the property. • In order to respect Tibetan tradition, shoes are not permitted in the Sangha House, the Orchard House, the Round House, or the Tibetan Shrine. • Our pond is a water offering in the Tibetan tradition. We ask that you refrain from swimming or throwing anything into the pond. • Camp stoves, propane lanterns, candles, incense and personal use of fires of any kind are not allowed on site. (If you need to cook something, please ask the moms, Sarah and Patty, if you can use the stoves in the Sangha and Orchard Houses) • Please refrain from killing any living creatures, including insects.

Most of our family members will be staying on-site at Pema Osel Ling (Amphitheater of the Redwoods) If you are lost, confused, or in need of supplies (feminine products, medical supplies, socks, snacks, etc.) while on-site, we've got you covered! Camping at the wedding venue in the redwoods

The most affordable option (RV parking also available). Camping at Pema Osel Ling costs $20 per person per night. To reserve a campsite or RV space please make a reservation through the google form (Press "VIEW" below). At the end of the form, you will be directed to pay via Paypal. SITE INFORMATION: - Temperatures overnight will be in the 40s at night so prepare accordingly. FOOD: - Pema Osel Ling DOES NOT ALLOW THE USE OF CAMPING STOVES, candles, or propane lamps. - Dinner will be served on Saturday 3/20 with an optional Sunday 3/21 brunch ($30 per person) that can be added to your reservation. Otherwise, guests will be expected to provide their own food. FACILITIES: - The campsites share a common bathroom space (with showers). Please practice consideration and cleanliness when using shared facilities. - If in the event that you forget supplies or food, we will have extra supplies (tents, sleeping bags, etc.). Shuttle

Shuttle from Aptos (near Best Western Seacliff Inn) to Venue

August 27, 2022 1:45 pm - 10:00 pm

Shuttles will be running from 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm to pick up guests from Aptos (at the large parking lot in front of the Resurrection Church at 7600 Soquel Dr, Aptos, CA 95003) and take them to the venue. These shuttle buses will also begin picking up and dropping people off after the reception after 9:00pm.
