Aptos doesn't have a lot of breakfast options and Red Apple Cafe is about it. It has lots of choices and lots of seating. That said there's usually a wait, so prepare for that!

Go grab their vanilla oat milk latte, you won't be disappointed!

Lunch: Mr Z's Crêpes & Teas

If you like crepes and boba, this is the place for you.

Lunch/Dinner: Café Sparrow

A solid choice, but they have weird hours.

Dinner & a Cocktail: Mentone

Started by a Micheline star chef, Mentone has pizzas, pasta and bomb cocktails.

Walk on the Beach: Seacliff State Beach

Nisene Marks

This is where we got engaged! The Aptos Rancho Trail takes you into the beautiful Nisene Marks, a huge redwood forest and state park with multiple entrances. We've recommended this entrance because it is easy to access if you park in the Safeway parking lot nearby. If you are not driving, it is also in walking distance from the Best Western Seacliff Inn. If you're coming from the Safeway parking lot, just cross the street onto Aptos Rancho Rd. Follow Aptos Rancho Rd to the end and you will find the trail head.
