Mason Granof is a Boston-based guy, teacher, and friend of Bryca and Charlie for over a decade. During the early months of the pandemic, he sheltered with both Bryca and Charlie in the woods of New Hampshire, where they enjoyed hikes, beers, and each other's company. He is incredibly honored to officiate the ceremony for two of his dearest friends.
Julian Alvarez
Best Man
Julian has known Bryca and Charlie since 2014. He's currently getting a PhD in Brazilian History. Outside of research and teaching, he likes board games and spending time outdoors.
Sara

Sara met Bryca freshman year of college while living in the same house at Vanderbilt, and the two quickly became close friends and sorority sisters. Sara teaches kindergarten and lives in Nashville with her two cats. She is so excited to celebrate Bryca and Charlie and stand by them on their special day

Garrett met Charlie at a summer camp when they were kids, but it was only later that they truly bonded over a shared love of strategy games. Now a full-time youth fencing coach, Garrett and his fiancee Kat wish their Charlie and Bryca a happy, satisfying life together!
Chlöe

Bryca and Chlöe first met as fourth graders learning about the labor movement at Worker’s Circle. They later reconnected at the Commonwealth School, where Charlie’s chess club and Bryca’s Model UN reigned supreme. For 8 summers, Bryca and Chlöe also honed their bead-lizard-weaving skills at camp. Today, Chlöe lives in Brooklyn, NY and works in public defense. She is so excited to celebrate her wonderful friends Charlie and Bryca.

Jordan Dowd is an old school friend of Bryca and Charlie. Jordan and Bryca used to organize a Debate Team and Model UN club together (Bryca was the brains of the operation). His friendship with Charlie grew out of a shared enthusiasm for political psychology, Cold War history, and rambunctious dogs. Today, Jordan researches social welfare policy at SUNY Albany, strings together short-term adjuncting contracts, and has held a series of low-level administrative jobs at floundering 501(c)3 nonprofits.

Hello everyone. My name is Abby Panzica and I am proud to say I have known and loved Bryca for nearly two decades. She has always been wise beyond her years; I will never forget her most astute statement “towels are bad for the environment” at the ripe age of 6. I have always admired her thoughtfulness, dependability, and wonderful sense of humor. Charlie is cool too. Today, I teach English to adults in Boston, MA, but if not for Bryca I would still be stuck in a stairwell in Montreal. So I thank her for that, and I can’t wait to celebrate her and Charlie in this step towards their future😻

Hi my name is Kaitlyn Willoughby and I am so excited to be a part of this wedding! I met Charlie in law school as we were both in the same section and then same study group. I met Bryca when she and Charlie picked me up in Florida on a way to our group trip in Miami and she has been stuck with me ever since! Through game nights at their place and now them being my dogs god parents I am so grateful for all of our experiences so far and for more to come!

Bri first met Bryca freshman year at Vanderbilt, and over four unforgettable years in Nashville, their friendship only grew stronger. They were roommates for two years, during which Bri happily benefited from Bryca’s free babysitting of her dog, Harley. Today, Bri lives in New Jersey, where she’s teaching Kindergarten.

Noah Powell is from Dedham, Massachusetts and attended Commonwealth School with Bryca and Charlie. He lives in Chicago with his partner, Jordyn, and works as a special education teacher. He is grateful to celebrate with his thoughtful and upstanding friends.

Eva met Bryca freshman year of college where they bonded over a shared love of the outdoors while camping in a U-Haul van in the Tennessee backwoods. She currently works in a lab in Pittsburgh while applying to bioengineering PhD programs. She is so excited to celebrate Bryca and Charlie and to see the wonderful places that life takes them!

Nick met Charlie in law school and after overcoming the first impression that Nick was a fed because he did Peace Corps and wanted to work for the DOJ, Nick and Charlie became good friends. Sharing interests in fighting abuses of power, social justice, and social deduction games, the two both ended up in public defense.

Hi! My name is Malak, I currently live in Chicago where I am getting a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Bryca and I met during our first year at Vanderbilt when we lived in the same dorm building (#StamFam), and bonded throughout college over weekly (concerningly cheap) spicy tuna rolls and our shared suffering from the Organic Chemistry classes we took together.
