Memorial Union Terrace
Arguably the best view of Lake Mendota, especially at sunset. Stop by to grab some food, beer, and ice cream and experience the heart and soul of Charlie and Jonathan's time in Madison. Memorial Union Terrace is also the location of our wedding reception and is the home of the UW Madison Sailing Team.
State Street
State Street is a pedestrian-only street in the heart of downtown Madison that connects the campus to the capitol. It boasts many of the best food, bars, shops, and activities Madison has to offer!

Happens on saturday mornings and wraps around the entire capital square!
Picnic Point
Great hike out to the middle of the beautiful Lake Mendota. One of our favorite places in town.

Ice cream made by the cows on the UW-Madison campus! Some of the best ice cream (and other dairy products) ever. Catch it at the dairy store or at Union South.
Greenbush Bakery
Best donuts in town, especially good late-night snack.
Mickies Dairy Bar
Cash only old school breakfast place. Best breakfast in town right by Camp Randall Stadium. There will be a line but it moves relatively quickly - busiest on Sunday mornings.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens
Fun area to walk around with both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Great art museum in the heart of UW-Madison campus.
