Where will we park?

Answer

There is parking at the venue. Attendants with golf carts will bring you up to the mansion from your vehicle.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We suggest staying at one of the hotels listed in the "Location & Accommodations" tab. They are within about 5-10 miles of the venue. Airbnb and VRBO also have great options. Crisfield has entire waterfront homes and condominiums to choose from.

What're some fun things to do if we're staying in the area for the weekend?

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love the littles ones, but due to space limitations and the venue being on the water, we ask that you enjoy the night without your kiddos. Children that will be attending the ceremony are only those in our immediate family. Our reception is adult only. Thank you for understanding.

Is there a shuttle service to and from the hotels?

Answer

There is not a shuttle service offered for our wedding. There is a local cab company in Crisfield called "Big City Cab" that is aware of our date.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a formal event - black tie preferred. Women should wear gowns and men should wear a suit or tux.

What's the weather like there in early October?

Answer

The weather is usually in the 70's - 80's during the day. It does get cool when the sun goes down.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be down by the water. Our cocktail party will be around the pool and the reception will be under a tent.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. If you know you can't make it once you receive the save the date please send us an email at charleyandsam2022@gmail.com

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we have photographers for that! We do encourage guests to take pictures during the reception. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MeeksTheCrystles so we can keep track of them.

I'm flying in - what's the closet airport?

Answer

The Salisbury, MD airport is about 30 minutes from our venue.
